Customers say: True professional

"Very professional. Phillip went above and sent me several quotes based on changing the work we needed done slightly. The quality of the work was very good and having gotten quotes from several companies his prices seemed the most reasonable for the quality produced. I would highly recommend this company for any roofing construction needs you might have."

"Fidelity Roofing called the same day, scheduled to inspect our roof within the week. (They could have come earlier in the week, but my schedule was the conflict.) He called and was able to come earlier in the day, noticed the issue, fixed it and was on his way. He even took a video of the issue and explained what his repair was. Really appreciated the follow through and thoroughness."

"The owner was on time in the time frame he gave me to start working on my roof. He came out before and then after the roof was REPLACED to inspect it to make sure everything was good. ð I highly recommend Fidelity Roofing."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

White is the most energy-efficient color for roofs because solar energy reflects off white surfaces the best. Silver is also a good choice.

Metal roofs have a reputation for being noisy, but with proper installation and adequate insulation, they are not significantly noisier than shingle roofs. The type of metal used can affect the sound level; for instance, steel roofs are typically noisier than slate or asphalt tiles but quieter than aluminum. While some people find the sound of rain on a metal roof pleasant, you can take steps to reduce the noise. Installing a thicker underlayment, adding insulation between the roof and the house, or using acoustic tiles can effectively muffle the sound. The gauge (thickness) of the metal roofing can also contribute to sound dampening.

Hail is unlikely to damage a tar and gravel roof because the hailstones will hit the protective gravel rather than your delicate roof membrane. A tar and gravel roof is the most resilient flat roof option, which means it’s the best one for areas that see hail, fallen tree debris, and blown debris from intense winds.

A gable roof costs between $13,000 and $30,000, depending on the size of your roof, the materials you use, and the type of gable roof you install. If you’re building a gable roof for new construction or as part of a major home remodel, your pricing will also depend on the type of roof trusses you use, how accessible your property is, and some other factors.

The best style of chimney cap for a brick chimney is one that fits tightly around the brick top of the chimney. The cap should have a screen to fully enclose it to keep animals out. The best materials include stainless steel, copper, or aluminum that fit tightly or are custom fabricated for a perfect fit on your chimney.
