I contacted before my closing and while I was while I was in town for it had them come over for and estimate, I contracted them Monday 11/10. When I came back Saturday morning 11/15 the job was done. The ceiling turned out beautiful, the place was completely cleaned and neat, the even vacuumed cleaned the new carpeting. I am extremely pleased with Straight Edge and highly recommend them. You can plaster over an old plaster ceiling if the existing plaster is in good condition. Ensure the surface is clean, free of loose material, and roughened slightly to promote adhesion. Applying a bonding agent or primer can further enhance adhesion. Proper preparation ensures a smooth and long-lasting plaster finish.

It is possible to repair plaster yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Plaster repair is easy in theory but difficult in practice.
