"I was calling around trying to find someone that could come and do some Millings on four parking spots in the driveway and a culvert and couldn’t even get hardly anyone to call me back and Davis paving messaged me right away. We explained what I needed done and he was very prompt courteous and he even fit me in on my very tight schedule I had and made arrangements to come over in a couple days and got the job done in one day. His whole crew was very polite willing to go the extra mile and help out with things I needed. I was very happy with them. The job looked great when it was done I would strongly recommend this company for anything you need done outside."

Less Expensive: Traditional concrete companies charge based on their costs to mobilize and pay hourly labor to perform demolition, debris removal, re-form, re-pour, remove forms, and cleanup. In contrast, our procedures have very little labor costs.

"I cancelled a job I put a deposit of $10,826.95 down for because the sale of my home fell through. I cancelled on June 13th and I still haven't received my refund as of 8/19. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose."

"The overall work went well. However, there was a defect in the concrete near our front door, in plain site, and very visible, where the concrete was cracked and broken just days after the project was completed and we had paid in full. We called multiple times and never received a return call. We then sent an email which he returned and set up a time for repair. This repeated itself for 3 separate events, with the patch failing every time. The last time we heard from him was 4 months ago when he said " I will be glad to come out and address the issue. I will contact you when I have a date." That was in July! Based on their poor customer service, after being paid $36,000, I would not recommend Cane Creek Concrete to any of my neighbors or anyone else."

They were supposed to come back in 30 days to seal the patches, but it's been about a year and I still haven't been able to persuade them to come and finish the job. And yes, I have already paid in full. The work they did so far is fine, but I'm disappointed they have not been more prompt to finish the job."

Yes, you can retrofit an existing driveway, but this usually involves cutting grooves into the driveway, installing the heating elements, then sealing them. While this is much less expensive than typical heated driveway systems, the final appearance could be diminished. Speak with a driveway paving company to confirm which design method is best for you.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.

Asphalt can get sticky in high temperatures and intense sunlight and is better for cooler or moderate climates, while concrete is more likely to crack in colder climates where water can seep into the slab and freeze. While paving a driveway is possible to do as a DIY project, we don’t recommend it. Paving a driveway requires heavy machinery, and while you can rent the equipment needed, operating it close to your garage slab or around your home’s foundation can crack it and lead to structural issues.
