Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "We had a great experience using Concrewrks for our project. We had a long portion of our driveway paved. David, the owner, was very thorough in going over the details and meeting with us before the pour to make sure all our concerns were addressed, Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. And after the pour David came back to make sure everything was satisfactory. We couldn’t be happier with our new driveway, and highly recommend Concretewrks!"

Pour day!
We are here a day after the pour pressure washing the stamped portion. A powder was put on top to darken and provide contrasting light and darks, some of which is getting washed off now.

"Summit Land Development and Scott Lewis did an excellent job on our fill and grading project despite having a couple of challenges with local providers of fill. What was key was excellent communication and always having an option available to stay on schedule and budget. I would highly recommend Scott and his crew without any reservations. Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Your driveway contractor will probably recommend that you avoid driving on your new millings driveway for up to a week. Keeping pressure off the freshy applied millings will help the driveway to bind together. While the sun is helpful for binding millings, hotter weather can actually make the curing process take longer.

An ideal driveway gradient is between 2% and 5%. Anything lower than 1% or higher than 15% can cause problems for your car or property. A driveway with less than a 1% slope increases your likelihood of flooding and water damage, while a driveway with a 15% grade or higher can be too steep for safe traveling.

Asphalt dries and cures best between 50 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. This range allows moisture to evaporate quickly without causing the asphalt to cool too fast, which can negatively affect the drying process. However, keep in mind that other weather conditions can also affect curing and drying times, such as precipitation and humidity.

Depending on project size, typically 1 to 3 days, including preparation and installation.

You can expect your asphalt pavement to last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, or 25 years on average. The life expectancy of your asphalt driveway depends on the climate, the amount of traffic, and how well you maintain it. While you can’t necessarily control some of these factors, you can control the amount of maintenance effort you put into your driveway.

To prevent your asphalt from deteriorating prematurely, you should follow a good maintenance routine involving regular cleaning, reparation work, and resealing.
