They were more enthusiastic about selling me a new system . They offered to give me a price break if I purchased a new system within a certain time frame. I told them I would consider it. Fortunately I was able to find another repair person who fixed the unit on site by replacing a few gaskets and a piston. It only took half an hour. Their trip fee was less than Progressiveâ s and thatâ s all it cost me to get my softener fixed. I am updating my review because the owner of the company contacted me and apologized for their inability to fix my water softener. He also sent me a check for a full refund of their trip fee."

"I received a flier in the mail for a winter system tune-up.  After looking at their reviews on Angies List, I decided to call and set up an appointment.  Everyone I dealt with (in the office while making and confirming the appointment, and Larry Waddell, the Service Tech) was very kind and professional!  I was given a 3pm-5pm window, and Mr. Waddell called at approximately 3pm to say he was on his way.  He was very efficient and thorough, providing me all the information needed to make decisions regarding this service call and possible future needs.  I greatly appreciated Mr. Waddell's assistance and would definitely call Blanton's again based on this experience!
