"Jacob and William are fantastic!!! What a great team. I would hire them in a heart beat. The waterfall turned out so beautiful. My neighbors all love the waterfall. They drained the waterfall 3 times until the water was clear with no hesitation. The lights at night are breathtaking. So very happy with the results!!!!"

"Excellent work. Amazing results. We discussed our needs and the design was so much more than we expected! Our project was delayed due to weather, but were kept informed almost daily. The crew was here when scheduled and we were kept informed of the process. Very hard-working crew and we are so pleased with with our new, huge and great designed driveway! "I had a really great experience with Johnson & Johnson Services and I will be using them for more work soon. Octavia and Craig have been very responsive and professional to work with. They grated our backyard and added some pipe to our gutters with some river rocks to allow for better drainage. They walked us through everything before doing it and provided a quote quickly. It looks great so far! We will be having them seed our backyard as well and we are looking forward to using the space more once the work is done."

"I used my Home Advisor App to find a pro to fix my heat in a desperate need. They contacted me immediately and made it to my home within a hour. Found the problem, took a picture of it for me to see, fixed it and brought what was wrong down for me to see and made it so I wouldn't have the same issue. Great service will be using again."

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

A septic tank always has some amount of liquid in it—which should usually be 8 to 12 inches from the top of the tank. If the liquid level is higher than that or is overflowing the drainage pipe that leads out to the leach field, the tank may be too full and in need of pumping.

Yes, experts handle manual pumping, chemical flushing, and equipment use properly, ensuring thorough cleaning and legal compliance with disposal regulations.

Although cesspits may be necessary depending on your main sewage system access or nearby soil quality, they carry a few drawbacks. Cesspools require regular emptying and have relatively high maintenance and pumping costs. Certain areas also disallow the use of cesspools and may require you to cover the cost of existing cesspools to be converted into septic tanks.

There are three layers of wastewater in a septic tank: scum (solid waste that floats to the top of the wastewater), liquid (the relatively clean liquid wastewater in between the two other layers), and sludge (solid waste that falls to the bottom of the wastewater). The buildup of sludge is one of the main reasons septic tanks need to be pumped. If the tank is more than 1/3 of the way full with a combination of sludge and scum, it’s time to call a pro for pumping.

There are a few things that can make your drain field fail. These include driving or parking vehicles or heavy machinery on the field, excess sodium in the soil, or having a high water table. You can prevent failure by ensuring your installer checks that your chosen location is suitable for a drain field and properly maintaining your system with the help of a professional.
