Jack took excellent care of us and even moved us up in priority since we were moving. This was our 2nd time using their services, and I would strongly recommend them to all!

  • Creative Vinyl Fencing
New fencing turned out great. They were responsive and prompt. I have since moved to a new house with vinyl. The fence is complete crap compared to Absolute vinyls work. they will be my first stop for future fencing work.

  • Grand Fence Co
I have used Grand Fence for three separate jobs in the past few months. The first time that I selected them it was because their bid was significantly lower than their competitor. After I dealt with them once and saw the high quality and value of their work, I did not even contact another company for a bid on the other two jobs. I have dealt with Curt, who is very responsive and knows his stuff

  • Broken Wire Fence & Construction
Overall, our experience was excellent. The quality of the work and lumber used to build our fence was above and beyond what we expected. We had a friend here while they were building the fence and she commented on how professional the crew was and how good everything looked.
  • Absolute Vinyl
Went very well. They are a quality contractor that performs quality work and do what they say they are going to do.

  • Grand Fence Co
Grand Fence provided separate bids for each section to facilitate working with neighbors to share costs. Bids were substantially less than those of another well known fencing co which linked 2 bids so that unit cost for 2 sections less than for just 1 section. Grand Fence came a week earlier than originally planned. All work done by 1 worker who removed old fence, set new posts and built fence. Total time -- 1 week. Invoice exactly matched bids. Would definitely use again

  • Absolute Vinyl
Very happy with our fence and the work done. We have a fairly large back yard. All of our questions about materials and warranty were answered by the estimator and we felt very comfortable with the entire process. The crew installing our fence was very courteous and professional. The fence looks awesome and we would definitely recommend them!

  • Frontier Fence
Frontier Fence kept the fence within my budget. They came out promptly to get me a bid. The time line for beginning the fence to the end of the project was exactly what I was given. If they had questions about property lines, where I wanted the gate or anything else they asked. They made suggestions when I was unsure what would look best. I had concerns about the gate, because it was going to have to be on an angle. They were able to build one to fit my slope and the fence line. It worked beautifully. When I had questions about any part of the process they explained professionally

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
