This is the third time we hired this company. They trimmed and thinned the branches on 5 mature trees. They did an excellent job! They have become very busy since we first used them about 7-8 yrs ago. We had to wait about 3 weeks for the service after calling them but we stayed in touch via texting.

If you need any tree trimming or removal work done, look no further than Montana Land & Tree LLC. We needed some trees trimmed and Brian did a wonderful job. While Brian did the cutting up in the bucket lift, Amy was down below cleaning up everything that fell to the ground. They just left and other than seeing the trees are trimmed you would never know they had been there. They cleaned everything up and hauled it away. They were reasonable in their pricing, and just down right nice people. We would definitely recommend them to ohers and hire them again if needed

This company followed through with what they quoted to me in the price and service. No surprises which was good! They were quick, careful with my other landscape, and they cleaned up all the debris. I was very happy with them as they were the lowest price, with no sacrifice in service.

The crew arrived when they said they would and completed the job in one day. After the trimming was done, they cleaned up all of the limbs and sawdust. They did a great job.

Very neat .Very professional. Very effective. Very nice. So going to use him again. It was so simple, I called him and took pictures, I then emailed them to his phone and poof trees were gone, bill came in the mail. Easy

They were very reasonable. They did a good job on everything. They were competitive on their prices. The owner is an old fashioned tree service man. He actually shimmies up the trees to do them. There are younger workers working below to chop up the limbs after he cuts them off. It is a very efficient way of doing it. I know its a little antiquated way of doing it. They did a very good job. They cleaned up afterwards. The trees are trimmed perfectly. I did shopping around on the price he was not the lowest, but closer on the low end. I made sure he had the adequate insurance. It was very professional. I have recommended him to others

One person climbed a large elm tree that had numerous limbs needing trimmed, another guided from below (ropes used for safety), while another promptly cut up limbs and loaded for disposal. They were excellent. Prompt, professional, courteous, and the price was appropriate. |

  • Blain's Tree Service

Blaine's was able to come within a couple of days of my call. They were very professional taking down the trees that had phone wires running through the branches and the lilac bushes that needed to come out. They removed all the debris and left the the back yard clean and safe for my grandson. I would certainly recommend them and use their services again

The whole process went really smooth. After the trees were cut down, they did a good job of cutting and stacking logs along our side fence. Cleanup was done pretty good. The owner of the business came frequently to review the work done. He asked us if we were satisfied with the work done and I replied yes

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
