"Archway Clean Sweep were great! I just wish I could have used their services. Cindy was very professional and friendly on the phone when I explained what I was needing and scheduled me efficiently. When the chimney sweep men came, they evaluated my chimney from the outside first and came to the door. He said he could do the sweep and charge me, but wouldn't recommend we burn a fire in our fireplace. He walked outside with me and showed me and explained the problems with the original build of the chimney, why it wasn't explained in our home-buying inspection and what would need to be done to correct it. He answered my questions and gave me a referral for a direct vent for a gas fireplace conversion that I asked him for. So refreshing to have a company come out who looked out for the safety of our home & family over making a quick buck. If I had cash, I would have a least given him a tip for the time he took to drive and talk with me. His knowledge was invaluable. We need more businesses like Archway Clean Sweep to take care of our homes!"

"Last fall I bought a house with a gas fireplace, and during the inspection it was noted the damper was blocked. They found that the blockage was caused not by debris but by a piece of mortar protruding from the masonry. In fact the chimney had probably never been used even though the house was 47 years old. So it turned out that there wasn't really a whole lot of chimney sweeping to do as far as build-up, but there was a little debris which they cleaned out, and they checked it to make sure that it was safe to use. "I am EXTREMELY happy with our expierence with Humes Masonry Solutions.  He provided a entire house tuck pointing, rebuilt my chimney and tuckpointing of our back concrete work.    He and his employee were very punctual, for such a messy process we did no mess for us to contend with.  In fact on the last day of work, we came home to a freshly painted window sills and mulch on the front of the house,  ( this house mortor was bad and needed this done for a LONG time).  Our house looks wonderful.    We had several of the big companies in St. Louis give us Quote but Terry was the best price and I dont think I could of gotten this good of a job with a big company, especially without any hassles or Headaches.  We will use Terry for all of our brick needs in the future.

"I noticed shingles missing off my roof and several storms came through this spring. I contacted three different roofing companies to give me an estimate on what needed repaired. The first two companies both tried to tell me I needed an entire roof replacement. I contacted ferguson roofing who told me the majority of the roof was still in good shape and only need a few hundred dollars of shingle replacements. After the estimate a date was given for the work and they showed up on time and completed the job. Not only were they honest and reliable but they are huge supporters of first responders and military."

"Stan came out and looked at the job and made his bid which was substantially lower than the other three bids I had received.  He suggested lowering the top of the chimney by one brick layer and then rebuilding the cap.  His workers came on the scheduled day and performed the work well and were open to my suggestion for sealing the space between the chimney and the wall.  I was pleased with the work and cleanup after.
