Archway Clean Sweep

Things went well. Very thorough and professional.

Came in and saw the issues right away. Was able to get the parts I need for a custom fireplace.

Everything went well with the archway guys that came to do my chimney inspection and cleaning.

It look rush in performing service. They didn’t share photos inside chimney chute. When asked about combustion air intake, they were fail to show lever and said it is automatic. There were hairline cracks in firewall bricks. But got no consultation. Just get chimney case cover replacement quotation since it is not have any damages but painted.

They were fine, he called before he came to make sure and he explained everything in detail. he made sure that I am safe. He was very thorough.

Repair and clean the vent, it wasn't easy but he was excellent . He was prompt and he was nice and made a top rank job.

Excellent and work was performed quickly and very proficiently!

Went fine. Dave’s partner climbed into our crawl space and hooked up the dryer hose so it would vent to the outside. It had come loose and disconnected, therefore lint was in the crawl space. Did an excellent job. Definitely would hire again.

Do not hire these guys. I spent $700.00 with them to stop a leak above my fireplace. They said they guaranteed their work, they guarantee that the leak will stop. Their fix consisted of: "Flash Seal" and "Crown Coat" to seal up the cracks in my crown. He said the guarantee was good for 7 years to stop the leak. It did not. One week later we had another rain storm and water is coming out the front of my fireplace stones. They came back and quickly inspected it and they now said it was my gutters. I said: "How can the front of my chimney stones be getting wet in my living room from my gutters? The chimney is not on the wall where water could flow in from gutters!" He tried to tell me my gutters were all wrong and that's why it was still leaking. I told him: "I sell gutters for a living and I know all about them. It's not my gutters." He got really mad at this, I guess because he knew he couldn't sell me another lie. He then stormed off and said: "You can sue me Lady!" And off he went. I had another fireplace company come out and he said they should have put a cricket on that chimney, lifted the roof tiles and installed the flashing properly. All they did was slap some tar on your roof. They really did not solve your problem, The leak is coming from your flashing!" Meanwhile, I'm out $700.00, so I guess I will have to take him to court to get my money back!

We had not used our fireplace since moving into the house a year ago. Archway's team arrived on time, set up and got right to work. They identified several issues with the fireplace itself and with the flashing around the chimney on the roof. They cleaned the chimney, did some temporary sealing of the flashing (will have to return when the weather is warmer for long-term repair work) and resurfaced the fireplace floor and back wall where there were some cracks. I thought they did a very nice job and will hire them again.

They did the cleaning and found that the screen cap had deteriorated which could allow animals and birds to get in and the fireplace wall had cracked which could allow fire to get into the wall. They repaired both p[roblms while here and we were very satisfied.

Very professional and nice staff. Quick and painless process. Will definitely use again! Glad we were able to have a great experience with the company. They are wonderful.

It went well, they were courteous, and did a good job cleaning the chimney, and removing the deceased bird that was in there... And had them install chimney covers and screens. Very happy with the results.

Fairly well. I thought they were a bit too pushy with the promotions, however. They were professional.

I called to get pricing for the cleaning and told them of the vent exiting out the roof of the garage and they priced me $100. They came and told me it would be $150 because it exited the roof of garage. I explained that I explained the situation when pricing the job on the phone and that they should have told me then. The lady taking my appointment and the gentleman I spoke to after were told of the vent exiting the the roof. Had to get the job done and took off work to be here for them and so I paid the additional fee they charged me at the last moment. If one does this kind of work professionally they should tell the customer ahead of time especially since they were told of the situation ahead of time.

Arrived on time and quickly performed requested work. Charge for service visit only.
