"If you are considering Riverside Painters, my recommendation is to ?Proceed with Caution?. I hired them in March/April 2025 and received much less than expected. Aleks will write you a great contract, however not follow the agreement once started, he will take short cuts especially when you are not paying attention. Attention to detail as outlined in the contract is not their strength and considers items petty when you point out (see pictures). First of all, Riverside consist of just Aleks and 1 part-time employee. The majority of wall painting/rolling is subcontracted to young inexperienced people not affiliated with Riverside and Aleks does not take responsibility for their work. As you will see in the attached contract language, Aleks was supposed to remove cabinet doors, use a stripper gel, stain and replaced. He ended up leaving the doors on and sanded, not what was agreed to. Also see language regarding wall preparation and pictures of the results. I wouldn't use them"

"To be truthful i was very skeptical hiring anyone to put on a new deck because of all the horror stories you hear of contractors taking your deposit and never returning to finish the job. BUTâ ¦ meeting with Jacob Quick made it all very easy. I met with Jacob many times because of my apprehension and having issues with making decisions. After signing a contract, Jacob kept in contact with me on starting date, permit issues, when materials would be delivered, and if there was inclement weather conditions that they could not work that day. From the start of teardown to the finished project, they were there every day at 7:30, making sure that time was ok with me. They had a crew of 4-5 people working all day. When an issue came up, they were up front and we discussed it. I felt very relieved that all the guys were very knowledgeable and experienced. I am picky when it comes to details and the entire crew were all very concerned about the littlest details. Brian was also great at answering my questions as the deck was being built. They wanted me to be highly satisfied and i surely was. Not only did they do an outstanding job building the sturdiest deck around but when they left my house, you couldn't even tell they were thereâ ¦ my yard was clean. Soâ ¦ yes i would hire them again. They made the entire experience easy peasy for me. Also kudos to the other guys on the team who also worked their butts off in the 100 degree weather. "One of them spilled paint and got it on his shoes and tracked it through my new flooring in my home. Their was a language barrier and it was hard to communicate with them. Repairs were guaranteed with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and they didn't take care of nail pops and other repairs that they had originally promised to do. Josh was willing to give me $200 off the labor cost to have someone else make the repairs. Lastly, I had 70% of my outlets and switches that had paint on them."

"The job entailed complete painting of 3450+ SF interior ncluding walls, baseboards, doors, door frames and crown molding. Erin (owner) executed the job in the time frame promised, at the skill level I expected from a professional painting contractor, and at a reasonable price. Her attention to detail in selection of paint quality and the number of coats required for a professional end result set the stage for the remainder of the job. Wall preparation included removal of switch and outlet plates, patching where needed, sanding of the walls in preparation for the paint application, caulking of windows and baseboards where needed, and protection of newly refinished and carpeted floors resulted in a wonderful experience for me as the home owner and a gorgeous end result.
