Mission Painting and Home ImprovementsWe had Mission Painting, paint all of our oak cabinets white as well as all the rest of the trim in our house. They also painted every room in our living area including bedrooms. We also had them repair wood rot and paint the exterior of our house, changing the color as well. This was a major project and we could not be more happy with the outcome of how it all turned out. Our experience beginning with the bid from Ben (which was more detail than we had ever seen from anyone..ever) all the way through with daily contacts with David & Bill the project managers who were dedicated to making sure that every detail in the project was completed to our satisfaction was done with professionalism and all in a timely manner. Mission Painting and Home ImprovementsMission Painting has been the best painters I have EVER used. Their quote was on point and they even pointed out areas we should have fixed we were just going to let be. The cost between them and just a mom and pop type of business wasn't completely close and they did much more work!!!!! We actually boarded our dogs and left for a business trip while they painted and we came home to the most exquisite place!!! Even my teenagers commented how awesome it looked. This is my 8th house and I have dealt with a ton of painters, I don't ever want to move again now and they will be coming back to paint our 2nd floor once we move on to that part for remodeling and updating this fall!!! The work actually started earlier than anticipated and daily progress was made and finished the project a day or two early. The workers were very professional and mindful of the space. C & C DrywallI could not be happier with C&C Drywall and would recommend to anyone. With looking to finish our basement we could not find anyone willing to help. I found this company on Angielist and on a whim left a message. Carlos responded quickly and came up for a bid. Their prices are competitive, and they did excellent work. All of his team were professional and Carlos stayed in contact throughout the entire process. They did a great job in cleaning up at the end as well which was a plus. Nolan and his team did a great job. They showed up on time and the job was completed as explained and on time. Nolan’s team hand-sanded every surface and applied filler to all nicks and dings, which provided a super-smooth finish. Most importantly, my kitchen cabinets now look as good as kitchen cabinets in model homes/new construction. Very impressive. Nolan’s quote was fair, not the most expensive, nor the least expensive. I feel Nolan offers an exceptional product at a very fair price. I would definitely hire him again.

We just finished our second kitchen renovation completed by Brackmann and could not be happier with the entire experience. They had performed a very modest cosmetic update to our previous home’s kitchen and now a complete rebuild of our current kitchen, which was more than twice as large. It’s difficult to find great contractors, so I wanted to leave a detailed review of somebody we’ve had an n=2 experience with. Everyone from the bidding process (Jeff), project management (Jason), and execution (Jason, Bobby, Zach, Jamie, Caleb) was cognizant that they were becoming part of your home. They were onsite on time, worked constantly through the day, took modest and well-deserved breaks, locked up the house, and were friendly and communicative when interacting with my family. They cleaned up and tidied daily, kept tools and materials organized in small locations, and were communicative about upcoming events that may cause temporary disruption to your schedule or home. Project management was also really impressive; Jason had to remember so many things for this job, in addition to other jobs for different clients. He had a daily timeline ready before the project began, which they adhered to nearly perfectly. He was prompt with emails, text messages, and addressed all questions that we had about process or the work being performed. I don’t think there was anything during the process that gave them much pause; decisions were made carefully but rather quickly. If we had questions about the workplan or work in progress, Jason answered those questions willingly and would go “above and beyond” to ensure that we understood what they were doing and the approach they were using. Brackmann has a great working relationship with their subs (for custom cabinets and countertops) and they do multiple projects together. During the process, we did change our mind on a couple of minor items or had small additions to scope; Brackmann was able to handle all of our requests smoothly without affecting the timeline drastically. Price was extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of materials, subcontractors, service, attention to detail, and experience. They are very transparent in the bidding process with respect to overhead and profit, down to the cent. Jason kept an up-to-date change order to capture the unexpected costs and our in-process additions, so we knew exactly where we were on price and how our asks affected the bottom line. A kitchen is the most complex room in a home in terms of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishes. To tackle this room in a month, from demo to punchlist, is really tough to do. Brackmann has talented personnel, great overall communication, and solid subcontractor relationships. We recommend them highly.

I would gladly recommend Organic Family Solutions for Interior Painting, which is what they did for my home in Springfield. I was in the process of selling my house so I wanted to have the work done as soon as possible. The estimator was able to come sooner than originally scheduled, which helped my tight schedule. She answered all of my questions and made suggestions where needed. She called a couple of days after I accepted their price to let me know that her crew was scheduled to start my job one week sooner. I was grateful that she was looking out for my interests, too. When the crew arrived to start the job (on a Saturday, no less) they covered everything – furniture, fixtures, and the hardwood floors. I needed different work done in different rooms, and the crew leader walked through each room with me to be sure that they knew what needed to be done. The living room and one of the bedrooms had dark green walls and another bedroom had deep royal blue walls; those rooms are now the Natural Beige color I chose. You would never know what the previous colors had been. The trim and edging work was neat and there are no roller marks on the walls or ceilings. The same four men worked on my job. Not all of them worked on the same days, but there were always at least two men on-site every day until the job was finished. They finished early, too. The last half-day that they worked was for my punchlist items (which was a short list) and to finish the final clean-up. They rehung my curtain rods for me, as well, which I didn’t expect them to do. Overall, the estimator and crew were professional, courteous, and friendly, and they did high-quality work. I would definitely hire this company again.

Chris got materials and immediately sent me a photo of the receipt from Home Depot. Then he did a extremely neat and professional job of fabricating and installing a custom insulated panel over the basement door. No more drafts! No more freezing pipes! Excellent communication. I flip houses for a living and deal with different contractors on a daily basis. I had Eric come out and give an estimate to redo the siding on a house. He was one of the very few contractors that was thorough with his quote. But what makes him different than the rest is that he was honest about not wanting to cut corners or giving me a number just to close the sale. Given the complex nature of this particular project we both agreed that it was better to go with a different contractor that specialized in a different type of siding. Eric was so honest and patient through the sales process that I'd definitely call him again for another flip.
