"I contacted this company to address a slow-draining kitchen sink, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The technician arrived with a poor attitude, complained about the sink clean-out location, and ended up breaking my pipe assembly where it connects to the floor drain. He blamed the damage on ‘poor workmanship’ by whoever installed it previously. After an hour of unsuccessfully trying to unclog the drain, he claimed the pipe was ‘loaded’ and said it would take at least two more hours of labor—at an additional hourly charge—with no guarantee of results. I was charged $139 for service that left my sink completely unusable. Another company quoted $575 to fix the damage caused, but luckily, a friend was able to drive over from Columbia to replace the broken assembly and clear the clog in under 15 minutes. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. After posting my initial review of Reddi Services, the company reached out and offered to reimburse me if I removed the review. I complied and took it down, but the promised reimbursement never happened. I’m not sure what kind of game they’re playing, but this experience has left me very disappointed. I advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company."

Mac Wilson is locally owned & operated by a Master Plumber and his business partner that found large service company prices simply outrageous. We call KC home and strive to offer the best quality plumbing service at low-overhead pricing to all of our friends and neighbors and have done so for the last 5 years! BBB Accredited.

"Mac Wilson is the plumber you want to know. They have done both maintenance (main line clean outs) and repairs/replacement jobs for me and I have been thoroughly satisfied each time. Their employees are responsive, prompt, and professional. Their work is excellent. And they are very competitively priced. I recommend them to any friends or family who need plumbing service."

"Iâ ve read the reviews on this company and everyone has rated them 5 stars. I donâ t understand this. We are nearly a month in trying to get septic plans and I still donâ t have them. They tell me a date. The next week I call, of course no one ever answer the phone, I get and email saying itâ s going to be longer. Soil test was already completed we talking plans only. In the time Iâ ve been waiting for the plans, Iâ ve already paid for so I can obtain a permit through Jackson County, the house could have had the slab poured and the entire house framed. No joke. I could be running electrical now but instead Iâ m still waiting for them to draw plans so I can get a permit Good luck. Maybe donâ t pay them upfront."

FAQs for septic tank service projects in Parkville, MO

Yes, most states require septic tank installers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed septic tank pro could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost to replace a septic tank is $7,350 for the average homeowner. This cost can range, however, from $470 to $22,500, depending on several factors. Your house size is a significant factor in the overall cost, but other things like material type impact the final price tag. For example, installing a new septic tank in a one-bedroom house typically costs $500 to $900, whereas installing a new septic tank in a five or six-bedroom home is generally $1,200 to $1,600.

The cost of septic tank repair is $1,775 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few elements, you might pay as little as $170 or as much as $6,100. Location, repair type, and tank material all determine the final cost. For example, replacing the septic tank filter can be as little as $200 to $300. However, repairing septic lines costs more, averaging around $1,500.

A septic tank can typically last 15 to 20 years on average, though your system's lifespan will vary depending on the type of septic system and the materials used. To help increase your septic tank's lifespan, schedule routine maintenance and do not flush items like cat litter, cigarette butts, or paper towels.

Repairing or replacing a septic tank is a job best left to a professional. Your septic tank is an essential part of your home, and if installed or repaired incorrectly, it could lead to significant problems. Things like polluted water, property damage, and health risks to your family could all happen as a result of an improper septic tank repair or installation.
