Nathan Taylor is the 3rd generation owner of Taylor Plumbing Services, which was started by his grandfather, Howard ‘Toe’ Taylor. Nathan’s parents, Keith and Cheryl Taylor, owned the company from 1980 through 2009 when Nathan took over the operations. Our technicians are highly trained professionals, each with many years of experience in the plumbing trade. We carry 2 Master Plumber Licenses and 1 Journeymen License. This is the 2nd time I have hired Taylor Plumbing and will again in the future I'm sure. Down to earth, on time, friendly, excellent work, fair price. What more can you ask? Even gave me some advice on some other work which I can do myself. Just a good family-run business.

I originally called to replace the flush valve and replace the bolts between the tank to the bowl since they were rusted together and leaking. When the plumber came out he was able to cut out the old bolts but he discovered that the toilet was so old that modern parts would not work, so the toilet would need to be replaced. Total time to diagnose the problem and replace the toilet was about an hour. I am very happy with the professionalism and the completed job.

I had some plumbing work done by ANOTHER big company within the last year. Although the work this OTHER company did was satisfactory, the prices they charged were rediculous. But I was stuck because I needed to get the work done ASAP and I didn't have the time to get someone else out. I decided to give Taylor Plumbing Services a call this time when I had a shower drain leaking over my garage. I first attempted to look into replacing it myself. But for the life of me couldn't figure out how to remove the old drain. The house is 47 years old and the way they installed drains back then is way different than what YouTube was showing. I couldn't figure it out and didn't want to take a chance of getting into trouble not knowing for sure what I was doing. I'm glad I called a professional. Jason came out, and although I think it was a little more work than expected and took a couple different techniques, he was able to get the old drain out. He also replaced the leaky trap (it had a cap which was also leaking) and some of the ABS pipe. Jason was very professional, courteous and neat and made sure everything was working before he left. There is no way I would have been able to do what he did. When it came time for the bill I wasn't blown away as I was with the OTHER company I had out prior. It was very fair ... actually lower than I expected. I will definitely have them out again when plumbing issues arise and plan to spread the word of their business.

I had previously called a different plumbing company on Monday and was told that it would be two weeks before their plumbers would even be able to schedule me. After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I decided to call Taylor Plumbing. I talked with Luanne (hopefully my spelling is correct) who was very pleasant and said they would be able to get out on Thursday (three days rather than at least two weeks). Nathan called about half an hour before the appointment to say he was on his way. He and his assistant arrived just before the scheduled appointment. I explained what was going on. He was very attentive and did not act like I had no clue what I was talking about. He and his assistant quickly set to work. They replaced the seal on the toilet and added shims to stop that leak. They repaired the pipe from the street and replaced the main valve and the faucet to the outside, which was connected to the corroded pipe. They also augured the washer's stand pipe. All of this was done in just over an hour and they cleaned up after themselves! All in all a much better experience than I have had in the past with other plumbers. Its been over a month since they were out and everything is still working great. We will definitely use them again.

I received a time that they would arrive and they arrived on time. They called ahead of their arrival to make sure I was home. Nate was very professional and began work right away. He shut off the main water to the house and proceeded to look at the problem. He determined that he could repair the leak rather than replace the shower faucet. Once he was done repairing the faucet he turned the water back on to makes sure the shower worked ok and cleaned up in the area. Taylor Plumbing charged $239 for this repair. I was satisfied with the charge but I do not know how this compares to work by other plumbers as I have not had to have another faucet repaired or replaced. I did use a $10 discount coupon from Angies List to pay for the repair. They told me that they charge by the project, not by time. I was very satisfied with the service provided and I would hire Taylor Plumbing again. I asked about another potential plumbing problem that we have and Nate give me an estimate to fix this problem.

work went very well. very good quality work and took less than 1 hour. Even though the service was great and everything works fine, cost was extremely high. total cost of parts was likely ~$25.00. My fault for allowing work to proceed as i was given the cost estimate before work began. one of the reasons i proceeded with the project was their $145 service call charge that i would have to pay, even if the work was not done.

Thankfully, no problem. Unscrewed at spout and not behind wall as can sometimes happen (hence having a professional on site just in case!). Brian was efficient and professional. Taylor Plumbing is very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend them.
