"This is the second time we have used Heath Gentry. The first time he extended the kitchen flooring into the living room by lacing it with the existing flooring and refinishing the complete floor. He did a fantastic job. We brought him back to replace the carpet in the master bedroom with hardwood and he was just as good the second time as the first. Wo would not hesitate to recommend or use him again if the need should come up."

"Mark's team did a great job sanding and refinishing our oak flooring with a minimum of dust and disruption to us while we stayed in our home. Dave and his workers were very courteous and answered our questions thoroughly. The work began on a Tuesday and the floors were walkable by Thursday evening. Great job!"

"Called Mark to schedule a bid to refinish our floors. He came out on time and gave us a bid that was lower than other companies. Scheduled a time to start refinish. Mark and Tony were on time each day, called me at the end of each day to give me an update and were very professional and clean during the entire process. The dust was minimal, just required a wipe down of surfaces. Mark mentioned he does not usually take off the quarter round of the baseboards, which I was initially worried about, but they did a fantastic job around the baseboards. I do have white baseboards, so did have to re-paint the bottom of each baseboard, but that was much better than replacing each piece, then having to paint.
The entire process was smooth. It happened just as Mark explained it would, there were no surprises at all. He even helped us to darken the existing color.
The Price was exactly as quoted.
I would definitely use Mark again. Great quality work!!

"Hardwood floor installation and refinishing. Lucas was very responsive and understood what we were trying to achieve. He worked hard to fit us into a schedule even as our construction schedule is changing. We had hardwood installed in three rooms and existing floor sanded and stained to match. We are very pleased with the result and will recommend!"

"Maurice at Global Pro’s Services is very professional. I was refinishing a hardwood floor that had years of wax buildup. Maurice came in with his equipment and removed the wax for me in a very timely manner. It made it possible for me to screen and coat this floor with confidence that our polyurethane would stick. I would hire Maurice and his team again in a heartbeat"
Stripping and Waxing VCT Tile Floors

Project Overview

This project involves stripping, cleaning, and applying a protective wax finish to Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) flooring to restore its appearance, improve durability, and enhance its shine. Over time, dirt, grime, and old wax buildup can dull the floor’s finish, requiring a deep restoration process to maintain a clean and professional look.

This image is in the in-between stage, having just being screened and prepped for a fresh coat of finish. The surface appears smooth but dull, with a uniform, lightly abraded texture.
Matt Finish: a low-sheen, natural look with little to no reflection. It's ideal for a modern, understated appearance and is practical for high-traffic areas because it conceals wear and imperfections.

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

Permit requirements to clear land vary by municipality, so whether or not you need permits depends on where you live and what you’re removing from the land. Some building departments will require permits for any underground work or excavation, meaning grinding down tree stumps on your property would require permits. Others mandate individual permits for each tree you remove. You can contact your local building department or a land-clearing specialist near you to see if permits are necessary for your job.

Property lines, building locations, and potential encroachments are mapped.

Several government-backed lending programs can help first-time home buyers purchase a home with little money down. FHA, USDA, and VA loans are options for qualifying borrowers, though many conventional mortgage lenders will lower down payment rates to as low as 3 percent.
