"Since the work was done, installed sump pumps with battery backup, installed tube drain around inside perimeter of crawl space, etc, it has rained heavily for a week. The new system is working great with no flooding of crawl space, thus saving the furnace that is in crawl space. I highly recommend this company. The 3 men that did the work were courteous, worked hard and kept me informed of their progress. Great company!"

"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. Now, I am confident that it wasn't a leak and caused by putting in the dishes in a funny manner and not a repair issue. I am using the dishwasher now again with no problem. 3. I determined with Thomas' help that the washing machine had a major problem and could have spun out of control into my wall....no question, it was time to get a new washing machine! This was a well spent $40.00--I even got Thomas advice on purchasing a new washing machine and what to look for. 4. I checked the drainage on my kitchen sink and learned how to empty out the "trap" and that most likely, I am okay, but what to swap out if I have continuing issues with slow drainage. In the end, I saved lots of money, gaining and learning valuable experience! Absolutely fabulous service!"

My Name is Kevin Evilsizer, I have been a contractor for 20+ years doing various remodeling and handyman work. My business focuses on quality workmanship that seams to be lost these days. I won't to give a customer exactly what they picture and make there dreams come to life while also raising the value of the property.

"Perfect job! First time they came out they determined the problem was in the gasline encased in stonework. Recommended getting a stonemason to chip away the rock, expose the line. Lined up the stonemason and phoned Jamison to make the appointment. Owner of company told me he would personally come out at the time of the stonemason to make sure no more stone than necessary removed. He did so. After rock removed, one of Jamison's plumbers came out, replaced the gasline (obstructed w/years of corrosion) and replace the ignition switch, reassembled the burner and ignited the pit. This company has first class workers and know what they are doing! Highly recommend for complicated jobs, such as this one! Thanks!

"It was great. We just haven't done anything at all with it. The responsiveness of the guy was very good. I think it was just not quite what we were looking for. It wasn't that their price was really high. I think it was just the price that we decided. Instead of just redoing the whole thing. we decided to do a fraction of it. The quote was about $5000. Their professionalism is great. We just need the plumbing redone and then that little section re-tiled. I don't think they would do just a little bit. With ReBath, they do the whole system."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

In Houston, freezing winter temperatures cause burst pipes that mimic foundation cracks. Conversely, groundwater seeping through limestone foundations looks like pipe leaks but requires waterproofing, not plumbing. If you live near the city limits, verify your connection status before calling a professional. Slow drains point to a failing septic field rather than a pipe blockage. Hire a licensed professional to perform a sewer camera inspection to identify the exact issue.

Helpful?

Document your water and waste system types, including well pump age and septic tank locations before scheduling plumbing services. Photograph visible pipe materials, noting if your Houston home was built before 1980. Locate your main water shutoff, individual fixture shutoffs, and the city water meter box. Track when problems worsen, such as during freezes or after heavy rain. Provide a property survey to help contractors identify property lines and setbacks.

Helpful?

Confirm whether your property uses city water, city sewer, a private well, or a septic system. This step determines the necessary permits and specialists for your plumbing work. For any exterior excavation, state law requires calling the MO utility marking service three business days before digging. Schedule non-emergency projects outside of winter to avoid freezing weather delays. Discuss freeze protection measures with your contractor for any exposed new pipes.

Helpful?

Scheduling plumbing in MO requires planning ahead due to high seasonal demand. During winter freezes, expect delays for burst pipe repairs. Standard water heater replacements take one day, plus extra time for shipping parts. Full repiping projects take three to six weeks from the initial call. Local permit processing and mandatory inspections add three to seven business days to your timeline. Always schedule non-emergency services well in advance.

Helpful?

Older homes in Houston feature corroded galvanized steel pipes and brittle cast iron drain lines. These materials lack cleanout access points, adding time to plumbing projects. Additionally, many homes sit on crawlspaces with low clearance, moisture, and damaged insulation from animals. Extended supply lines from rural wells or septic systems increase the difficulty of leak detection. Inspect your home's foundation type and visible pipe materials before starting a project.
