"I was forewarned ahead of time not to use this company because Sabrina's husband had ripped off some people in the Houston area took their money for a roofing jobs and he never showed up. After speaking with Sabrina she informed me that they were divorced and that she would never do something like that that she had integrity. On day two the two roofers that she put on the job I overheard them complaining that they were afraid they weren't going to get paid so I had asked Sabrina next time I spoke with her how much she was paying the roofers and she stated she was giving them $2,500 so I informed her that I would pay them 1250 a piece and give her the balance, she wasn't very happy with that idea. I asked her what the problem is since that's what she was going to pay them in the end she accepted it .The very next day after the roof was finished the ridge cap was coming off so she sent them back out to put it back on 3 days later it was coming off again, after several weeks of arguing with her over this she finally sent someone back out and he informed me that the nails they put in were too short so here it is now April 12th 6 months later and I'm having the same problem because the nails they used were too short. I told Sabrina that I have just been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer she said she would pray for me and send somebody out the following week that was about 3 weeks ago. Today I asked her when she planned on getting somebody out here She said she will get someone out here whenever she gets somebody out here! I only have 6 months left on my warranty and she's playing games and I'm tired of playing the games so I gave her until Monday which gives her 6 more days to get this roof fixed or I'm taking her to court save your money and use someone else she has no integrity at all! Be prepare to be ripped off by her if you use her company!"

Siding questions, answered by experts

Concrete log siding offers some cost savings when compared to wood logs. Real wood logs require ongoing maintenance that can total up to $750 annually, while concrete log siding doesn’t require annual maintenance. Since concrete log siding exceeds the requirements of most building codes, it can also lower insurance premiums and boost resale value.

Wood siding lasts anywhere from 20 to 40 years on average. This can vary greatly depending on the type of wood, weather conditions, and how well you maintain your siding. For instance, hot, wet climates may shorten the life span of wood by exposing it to UV rays, mold, and pests. Staying on top of painting, staining, and repairing your wood siding can add years to its life span by protecting it from the elements.

Regularly wash with mild detergent, inspect for rust, and repaint as needed to maintain its appearance.

The life span of metal siding depends on the type of material you choose. Typically, tin has the lowest life span (approximately 15 years), while copper has the longest (approximately 100 years). The environment can also impact metal siding’s longevity. In some instances, different types of metal siding can last longer than typical roofs.

The living space of a home doesn’t correlate directly with how many square feet of siding you’ll need, but on average, a 2,000-square-foot home will need 1,700 square feet of siding or 17 squares of siding. Your siding measurements will vary depending on the layout of your home, the number of stories, the size of your doors and windows, and even your roof style.
