Top Tier Kitchens & Baths

If you are thinking about choosing this joke of a company for any of your Kitchen or Bath renovations, DON’T. Top Tier claims that they make remodeling “easy for you”, that they are “committed to earning 100% customer satisfaction”, that they “give every customer the attention they need”, and that you can “count on us for Superior service at competitive prices”. These are all LIES. Top Tier also claims that they ensure “that the products we order for your home are a perfect fit”, and that when they send workers out that they “will arrive with everything they need to complete your project quickly and flawlessly.” More bold-faced LIES. Top Tier will have you sign a contract, take your money, and give you the worst experience of your life. We hired Top Tier in 2022 to start on a remodeling project for our Kitchen and bath. Top Tier Started the January 16th, 2023, and didn’t claim to be finished until May 2023. The only thing that went right with this project was when in the first week they knocked out a small wall, everything else was a crap show. The flooring and counter tops went great but only because these were done by completely different companies and NOT Top Tier, thank God, because just about everything went wrong. I will try and keep it short and stick to the major things. Top Tier did not make this an easy process at all. From the start we didn’t receive communication from our “project manager” Charity. When we did, she would get an attitude and treat us like we were a nuisance. She would constantly forget to send the workers out to the job site. Several times she would not ensure the workers were sent with everything they needed to do the job. This is even after we had multiple discussions and would send links of the items, SHE asked us to choose. She would constantly forget what we discusse. Multiple times me and my husband had to clock out of work to go and purchase items that were needed for the job that Charity was supposed to have done. We had to do this because according to her if we didn’t then it would be several more days before she’d send anyone else out. We had to wait months for our bathtub to arrive because when it was ordered it was never communicated to us that it was on backorder, so we weren’t even given the opportunity to pick something else that was in stock. Leaving the remodeling in limbo and our house a mess for weeks. Then the bathtub was lost for weeks because it was shipped to a bad address, to which when we’d follow up with Charity she’d either laugh about it like it was some hysterical joke or ask what we were talking about because she’d forgotten they lost our tub. So much for giving your customers the attention they need. We were also told several times that they would start on the bathroom by a certain date since the shower was in when it never was and so the bathroom did not start on time. When we ordered cabinets, we stressed multiple times that we wanted fully white cabinets. Instead, what we got were white and yellow cabinets. The kitchen cabinets along the wall did not fit and a whole section was completely missing. The island cabinets were hodge podge sizes. Thankfully the guys actually doing the work were watching out for us. They seemed to be the only ones who cared to do a good job. We ended up having to fork out extra money for things to be done properly and professionally because Top Tier forgot about it. They were going to leave everything unpatched, unpainted, and nothing caulked and call it “complete” unless we paid more. Even though we asked all that be done in our consultations. We still have some cabinets that are yellow and white, but since we are now paid in full Top Tier is not going to finish fixing those cabinets. So once again WE are having to do more work on this remodeling job we paid them to do. At one point I had called to speak to the owner Ben to ask what was being done to turn this crap show around. However, Charity refused to let me speak to him and was absolutely unprofessional and condescending. Ben eventually spoke to us and said he’d take care of it. The most minimal attempts were made to remedy all the negligence. Instead of any type of refund we were offered some silly cruise that was only discounted and not fully paid. Why the h*** would we ever want to pay more money on a cruise after cashing out more than what the kitchen and bath was after being so badly handled!? What a joke. Not sure if that was in hopes we’d be bribed to leave a good review or their way of hoping we’d keep quiet. All of our friends and family saw and know what we dealt with. None of them will ever be using this company. However, if you are looking for incompetent service where you have to pay more than what it’s worth for a job to be done properly, “quickly and flawlessly”, a place where the “attention” the customer gets from the company is severely lacking and what attention you do get you are treated like a annoyance, a place where you end up having to take off work without pay to work on the remodeling that the company is supposed to do, and it all be a hellish nightmare instead of made “easy for you”…then Top Tier Kitchen, Baths and Nightmares is just the place for you.

Top Tier is by far the most talented and honest company I have done business with. Their employees are extremely skilled. Thank you Daniel Rolofs!

From the design appointment through the installation this company was the best. Always kept in contact with me and was here at the date and time to install the shower. Once here the installer Daniel Rolufs was great. Highly recommend them.

It was overall a good experience. The first shower door they put on wasn’t the right size for the shower, but they made a new one and the second door is awesome! The whole shower turned out wonderful!

Remodel went smoothly from beginning (choosing what I wanted & colors) to finished work. The designer/sales person, Ben arrived to give estimate of price and work needed complete with samples, prices and ideas. He was not pushy trying to get the job, but had some ideas I hadn't considered. If their price didn't match my budget, Ben helped with other ways to help with the price. When all was done and contract signed 1/2 of payment was due at that time. It took about 2 months to start the work and 3 days to finish it. Daniel, the installer, laid down runners to keep the carpet clean while coming in and out of the house. At the end of day the cleaned up the bathroom and stored his equipment out of the way. He also made sure the entry way and porch was free of debris before leaving. If I had any questions about the work, he would take the time to explain.When time to install the hand rails and height of shower head we worked together to get it where best for me. Not many companies have workers who are proud of their work but Daniel was. Some were surprised when done that none of the wall paper had been damaged. An oak cabinet (floor to ceiling) was installed in old shower spot and it's just perfect . The final payment was due on completion. A shower curtain was put up until the door was installed. Top Tier contacted another company to install the shower door. They came and measured, ask some questions and said in about a week the door would be ready to install. Installation was right on time and my remodel couldn't be any better, just what I had in mind.

Flawless. The Top Tier Team was stellar from the initial contact after VA approval until well after job completion. Charity (Sp?) had all the answers to this aging vet's questions, including ensuring all associated paperwork was completed and correct prior to job commencement! You guys rule! I would hire you every day of the week, and twice on Sundays!

Project took six days for crew of two. They worked all day, not even taking a lunch break The walk in tub required the removal and replacement of door frame and part of door cripplers to make it wide enough for the new tub. They did a lot of the field fabrication in my garage and they left the garage cleaner than it was when they arrived. The project cost a little over $26,000, and of course I also had another contractor install a tankless water heater so we could use the walk in tub, I have another less complicated bathroom to remodel and I will be asking Top Tier to provide a quote.

It went great they are all great people to work with and they are very professional. And I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to nay of my friends.

It went very well except for one small glitch involving the dryer lint vent. Taken care of promptly. Great workers. Would have liked a seamless shower but this co. Does not use. Impressed with clean up and polite craftsmen.

Installer did a great job and we are very please with the outcome

Kevin E. was our installer and did a fantastic job. He was in our home from a Wednesday through Friday. He cleaned as the job progressed and put tarps down to protect our floors from the outside elements. Our new shower was totally replumbed and a new Delta shower fixture installed. What really impressed me was the caulking job Kevin did around all the seams. We are extremely happy.

It took 2 days to complete but If I were doing it I have a feeling it would have taken me two weeks and many trips to the plumbing store.

Well....where do I begin. For starters, we had agreed on a start date (which coincided with my vacation from work) but the day before that began I called to confirm. They did not have the courtesy to tell me they were behind and wouldn't be able to start when we had agreed (which had been almost 2 months prior). Demo went well, floors went in, electric was done and had to be redone to add outlets that were agreed upon with the original plans, then the cabinets were installed. I felt sorry for the guy that installed them. He was here all alone to install. He had to go down the street to ask a neighbor guy that was outside to help him bring in the one corner cabinet. He did a great job though but it probably would have been a lot easier and quicker if there were 2 installers. Then, when he was here installing the cabinets, he brought up question as to why they didn't extend the tile floor so that it was completely under all the cabinets instead of ending where they did (we extended the counters about a foot). Now all I can see is that the tile is short and it doesn't look right. No one had even made that suggestion when they did the design. I also think that I paid twice for some things (like I bought my own flooring tiles and countertops and I know that was in the original estimate.) There was a lot of miscommunication or lack of any communication unless I called or emailed them first. Once everything was FINALLY finished, it looked good but am finding things wrong after using the kitchen for the last few months.

Excellent and more importantly...they were straight forward, honest, reliable and ON TIME!!!! WHY call anyone else???

The project was explained clearly when we made the purchase by the salesman. The contract was signed. The work went smoothly, even when a couple problems happened because of work the original house owner did. The installer, Jonathan, quickly corrected the problems & finished the project. He cleaned up afterwards & was very pleasant & courteous. I would have them do work for me again.

I would strongly recommend Top Tier if you plan to remodel your kitchen. They did a great job from design to installation. There was a little delay, but that didn't affect the outcome. A special thanks to Mike, the designer and a great craftsman. Mike really went the extra miles to make our new kitchen beautiful. Ben and Ray also did excellent work on the flooring, backsplash, and cabinets. A great team effort to make my beautiful kitchen come true. It is definitely Top Tier!

Top Tier did a fantastic job remodeling my mother’s bathroom.

How did it go? Well, the estimator was here May 24th and it is now June 22 and I have yet to hear back from him. I went with another company that was more interested in my project than one that kept telling that I could save money or there as if I didn't have the money to spend on the project. Sorry, but if your employees can't bother to paint a wall, then you need different employees. As to their license not being for outside work, am I the first person remodeling that wanted a window added or changed, then you aren't doing enough of that work to have the experience needed.

Day 1: did not show (forgot to call to say previous job had run over). Day 2: installer leaves after 15 minutes, has cat allergies. Day 3: wonderful installer arrives, finds several additional quirks to the job, fixes them all. Takes 5 days where 3 was initial estimate. Had to rebuild floor joists that had rotted, Top Tier negotiated a slight rate adjustment, far less than if we had been on the clock for time not to mention materials.

They did exactly what they said they would do. It came out perfect.

It went really well! It was faster than we expected and everything looks great. They have really great follow through and communicative. They invited us to come into their office so we could see samples and decide which textures we liked. I just really liked the process and we'd use them again!

They were great! They were very communicative, and made sure to have us come into their offices to find the right material that we wanted. They finished ahead of time and did great quality work!

They do great work. They completed the work in less than a week.
