"The people on the phone and the workers that worked at my house were fantastic. Damien and Ernest were the installer's top rate people. Jack, their license plumber was polite and funny. The only person we didn't care for was Keith He only stopped by to look at what was going on. He was a little rude to my wife and Made her feel Like she was second class in her own home. We Were very shocked by that. We would definitely recommend Jacuzzi to our friends."

"I hired this company to extend the natural gas in my house and would definitely recommend them. I felt that the plumber who did the installation really knew what he was doing and seemed like a great guy. The installation went well and the price was fair."

"My installer John was fantastic. He did an amazing job and I am so pleased with his attention to detail and the way it all turned out. "Sam drove out over an hour, late in the evening, to examine our water heater. He found it to be unusable and immediately drove to Home Depot for a new water heater and regulator. It took him less than an hour to install so we could be comfortable and have hot water again. He left our home late with a long drive home. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We would call him again with any plumbing needs."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Avoid skipping required permits or attempting DIY repairs on older clay sewer lines, which causes severe ground settlement issues. Another major mistake is ignoring local hard water conditions when installing new fixtures. Finally, failing to re-winterize outdoor hose bibs after completing a summer plumbing upgrade leaves your De Soto home vulnerable to burst pipes during the first hard freeze.

Helpful?

Always schedule a final inspection with local authorities to close out your permit after finishing plumbing work in De Soto. Flush your water heater to remove hard water sediment, and test your sump pump before spring storms arrive. Before the first hard freeze in November, verify that all outdoor shutoff valves function properly and apply fresh insulation to exposed exterior pipes.

Helpful?

Evaluate your De Soto home's age and water system. Homes built before the 1980s contain galvanized steel pipes or lead solder that require replacement. You must also check if your property uses a septic tank or connects to the municipal sewer. Because local hard water causes severe mineral buildup, updating your plumbing will improve water pressure and protect your fixtures from rapid deterioration.

Helpful?

Your water heater and supply lines are top priorities, as MO hard water causes rapid mineral buildup inside tanks and pipes. You must also monitor outdoor hose bibs and crawl space pipes, which face severe freeze risks during winter. Inspect older clay sewer lines for tree root intrusion, and maintain your basement sump pump to handle heavy spring rains effectively.

Helpful?

Keep foam pipe insulation and heat tape ready to protect exposed pipes from sudden MO winter freezes. Store a curb stop key to operate your main municipal water shutoff valve during emergencies. You will also need a hand-operated drain auger to clear minor tree root blockages, along with water hardness test strips to monitor mineral buildup inside your water heater.
