I had a leak into the basement from my bathtub. I called my home warranty and the assigned my claim to PK Plumbing. The "plumber" Steve, came out and took a two minute look at it and said it can only be repaired by ripping out the wall and the warranty will not cover any of the tile work to replace the wall once the leak is fixed. The plumber said he’ll fix the leak but leave the hole in my wall for me to have repaired. I was dumbfounded and not sure how he could come to this conclusion without touching or looking at anything at all so I posted on a handyman facebook group with many plumbers who all agreed this didn't sound correct with the video I uploaded. They all believed the leak to be coming from the drain. I had a different plumber come out and give me a second opinion and he actually fixed my leak in 5 minutes!! No need to rip anything out as it was just a seal around the tub drain. PK Plumbing is shady and Steve is dishonest and out to rip off the warranty company (and the customers along the way). My warranty company agreed to waive the service call fee and will be looking into the shady practices of this company. I would never allow them to step foot into my home again.

very poor job... plumber did nothing... showed up, did not even bother to look at leak in basement or pipe under sink... claimed the entire granite countertops and kitchen cabinets needed to be tore out to do the job... all that was needed was a pipe snaked out to clear blockage. plumber seem very disinterested in doing any work or looking at what the actual problem was

Used this company for at least 3 years now. All kinds of plumbing needs for normal household fixes. The plumbers they send out are always kind and courteous. Always knows what they are doing.

Technician was late, gave a sketchy excuse as to the reason (flat tire, supposedly, but later inquired about how fixing it went he was completely confused by my question). The technician was condescending and not pleasant. Would not do business with this company again.

Plumber was really nice and well intentioned. Knocked holes in ceiling with a hammer to gain access in order to determine cause of water stain in dining room ceiling. He concluded the stain in the ceiling was coming from a leaky shower drain. He apologized for the drywall butchering job and Instructed me to cut more ceiling away before he returned. He said he would come back in 3 days with a 2nd plumber to fix it. In the mean time, I (homeowner), cut more ceiling away with saw. My wife commented that my work (amateur) looked better than the pro. We systematically observed the leak which, continued even though the shower had not been used for 3 weeks. We concluded (ok, I'm an engineer) that the leak was not coming from the shower drain, but was coming from a leak in a pipe in or near the shower. We called the Home Warranty Company again who sent out another company.

I contacted PK Plumbing through my home warranty company. The plumber was great - he was running a little late and called to let me know and gave me an estimated arrival time, which was only about 20 minutes passed the appointment window. He diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the unit efficiently and professionally and left me no clean-up.

They did just fine.

Larry came out and took a look at the area of the ceiling that was leaking. We advised him that it had to be an interior pipe since there were no direct water sources above the leak. He went upstairs to confirm for himself that there were no water sources above the leak, then said there was nothing he could/would do. He refused to cut into the ceiling to take a look around and see where the leak was coming from because that appeared to him to be a lot of work. His recommendation, instead, was to treat the water stains with a bleach solution and just paint over them. In the mean time, I have an ever growing leak somewhere that isn't being addressed and causing more damage. Not only is Larry absolutely incompetent and unwilling to do his job, but at this point his actions and by default the actions of PK Plumbing will cost me more money as more damage is done and I have to look for another plumber. I strongly recommend PK Plumbing rids itself of employees who are unwilling or unable to properly do their jobs as this reflects negatively on their business; they should also consider a quality control system to review plumbers assessments of the situation and the work they did. in order to catch this type of blatant disregard for their customer's plumbing needs.

Steve came within the time promised and did a good job of fixing the flush mechanism. I am very happy with his work.

She was great! She was very friendly, clean, and courteous. She was at the home for less than an hour.

Master plumber in the morning and he would call me the next day. Well he took my $50 for the warranty and never bothered to call me at all. A week later, I called another plumber who came in and replaced the pressure valve and it corrected the problem. That plumber told me that it is common when your water pressure is too high due to a bad water pressure valve that some faucets will have low water pressure and others high water pressure.

From the start, PK Plumbing was hard to get scheduled and they would not call back and set up a time for a service call. When the technician came out, he replaced a part (mixer cap) on the shower control and when he left, it dripped even worse. Another service call ensued and we were told that to stop the drip, it would require going through the master bed room wall to get at the source of the drip and cost over $500 (which was not going to be covered by the home warranty). We decided to do some investigation of our own on-line before we contracted the service. We found the drip might be caused by a faulty pressure balancing unit (a part right behind the mixer cap that PK Plumbing replaced). In summary, we watched a video on-line and replaced the pressure balancing unit part in the shower control for $59.00 and stopped the drip and avoided costly repair that PK Plumbing recommended.

Because my tub and drain are old (80 years), it takes someone who is used to dealing with old homes. PK Plumbing did a great a super quick job of dealing with the clog.

I wasn't particularly happy with their service. They didn't seemed to be well prepared. They serviced us without the right equipment.

used through a home warranty plan. The plumber is not at fault, but I feel that the home warranty plan is designed NOT to have to pay out for anything. Our water heater was not performing (it is almost 20 yrs. old) so we wanted to use the warranty plan before it expired (it was purchased for us by seller when we bought the home a year ago). The plumber barely looked at the heater and promptly told us that it needed to be flushed but that their liability insurance would not allow them to do it and that we had to do it ourselves. The flat fee from the warranty co. for the service call was $60. so we basically spent $60. for absolutely nothing. The reason I would not use this plumber again is that there are many who are way closer to our home than this person had to travel. Home warranties are a rip off! Just glad we didn't have to pay for it when we bought the house. Needless to say, we now have a new water heater.

I have a home warranty so anytime anything goes wrong with any plumbing or refrigerator or anything like that, my home warranty company recommends PK Plumbing. They come out and do whatever that need to be fixed and we pay my deductible which is $80. Everything was neat and clean. They are very punctual. You can call them today and they come out today. If you had a problem today, you could just call and they will be out the next day or the same day. They're excellent. They do everything that have to do with water basically. My toilet's screws were loose coming in from the wall, they has somebody come out and fix that, got the water up. They fixed m y refrigerator and my garbage disposal. I've used them probably 3 or 4 times in the last 2 years. The plumber that came out both times was female.

I recommend them highly. They're very professional, courteous and on time. They have good price and usually don't pressure you on any work that does not need to be done.

They did not have to part so we did not have to service performed. They have recommended another company for me.
