"I had two plumbers visit my home to look at my waterheater and admit it was leaking and under warranty but offered no solutions. I looked on line for alternatives and reviewed tankless heaters;I requested a quote, and Steve Hosack responded within seconds! He made himself available faster than anyone else and had a new unit installed the next day. More importantly, he stopped the leak - actually flow of water immediately with a simple solution for which he expected nothing, saving me many dollars in wasted water. "It did not go as expected. Although the staff is very friendly, professional, and punctual, the actual job did not go well. My toilet was leaking onto the subfloor, so within 15 minutes the plumber determined I needed a new pipe and he would not be able to reinstall my toilet until I fix the subfloor. I fixed the subfloor and called the plumbers back two days later. The office staff that took my call was wonderful and accommodating, and got a plumber out right away to reinstall my toilet. Here’s where the problem is: the first plumber who took the toilet out laid it on its back causing all of the seals in the tank to break. The first plumber also replaced my shut off valve, but placed it about an inch further out of the wall then it previously was. So when the second plumber came to reinstall my toilet, not only could the toilet not be put back up against the wall, but the tank was loose and leaking now and all the seals in the tank had to be replaced. In the end, I paid $700 for this project, which shouldn’t have been more than $350 in my opinion. And since the toilet sticks out so far from the wall the tank is still leaking as it must have been jostled in use. And the base of the toilet no longer lines up with the hole that was cut in the linoleum. It just looks awful and to be honest, I should’ve just had them replace the pipe and left it at that, but the first plumber left the sewer pipe sticking 8 inches up out of the floor and I wasn’t sure how far down to cut it to reinstall the toilet. It was just a mess."

"MH Contracting is absolutely top notch! I cannot nor would not think of hiring anybody else for any of my needs at my home. My wife and I wanted to make our basement into a master suite with a large master bathroom and large walk in closet. We contacted Home Advisor which then put us in touch with several companies. MH Contracting was without fail, the best choice. After meeting with all of the companies and comparing bids, we knew that Mike and MH Contracting was the way to go. We had grand plans but were not sure that we could afford to do everything at once. We needed to start with adding an egress window to the basement. Their quote was right within our budget. Mike helped take our basement from an in home office to a wonderful paradise. My wife and I must have changed our plans at least 10 times during the process. Each time Mike and Scott said ������������������������ no problem������������������������. We went from planning a 65 sq ft bathroom to over a 220 sq ft bathroom with an additional walk in closet at another 120 sq ft. This does not even include the master bedroom. From the beautiful walk in shower, 72������������������������ soaker tub, tv mounted above the tub to the heated floors, everything has turned out perfectly. Both Mike and Scott are very scrupulous about every aspect of what they do. Then we decided to take down a wall between our twin������������������������s bedrooms to make one large room. You can������������������������t even tell where the wall was. Their drywall work is amazing. They showed up on time, worked a full day and cleaned up every single day they were here. We trusted them from the beginning. We gave them the alarm code and access to the house exclusively. They even worked while our 13yr old twins were home over spring break. Never a trust issue and that������������������������s hard to come by now a days. Our project took about 2 months from start to finish. I������������������������ve already had Mike and crew out to my father in laws house for some electrical work and to my daughter������������������������s house to work up a quote for all new windows and some much needed concrete repair issues. I can������������������������t wait for our next project to be planned."
