  JD Kelly is awesome! They always showed up on time, and worked hard, they never left the equipment idol. They did a ton of work for me over the past few years, and have always been wonderful to work with. They do more rough landscaping, so do not expect finish grade work, they come in with bug equipment get the job done, clean up and reseed. JD has a amazing eye for altering the flow of the land to capture the idea you are looking for. He will get everything in place for you so you can bring in the mulch, flowers, and trees to make everything look pretty. My pond was in bad shape, when he was done, the dam was repaired, pond was clean of debris, and drained correctly. Now the pond is healthy and thriving where as before it was pretty much just stagnate water. There was a few mistakes as there always is, but he corrected them as best he could.   Highly recommend and way above 5 STAR quality. The only bad thing I have to say about B&B Tree Services is there is ABSOLUTELY nothing bad I can say about them. Levi and his crew are so skilled and professional. When Levi came out to do my bid he had my best interest at heart and was 100% honest. He wanted to get the immediate trees cleared that I needed for building including random dead trees. But also considered trees that good be potentially hazardous and would not grow properly. He not only removed over 20 decently sized trees, cleared brush, and grinned stumps; he also went above and beyond to remove a ton of inherited scrap metal and loaded it in a dump truck for me to haul away. He also cut the good trees into manageable pieces and hauled them to another off site location 10 minutes away for me to use at a later date. I am beyond grateful for him and his crew. They left my land looking better than they found it. I can’t thank them enough. He will be used again for all of my other tree work and has a number of other skill sets.   Once my wife and I decided to build rather than buy we scoured the Internet looking for a contractor that we felt would be a good fit for our needs. Angie?s List was the first place we turned. After compiling a list of potential firms we started meeting with contractors on our lot just outside of town. Jake with Aarow Building quickly moved to the top of the list by talking with us about our concerns for energy efficiency and indoor air quality. The planning process was simplified when Jake helped us pick an architect that specialized in energy efficient homes. We made weekly stops by the project during the 8-month build meeting with Jake or the foreman the majority of visits. We always seemed welcome and they were always friendly and seemed happy to see us. There were what we feel the usual speed bumps in the process, delays in special order items (including our European windows), cost overages (small and probably reasonable) and weather but the guys just seemed to keep pushing and moving toward the end goal. Once we moved into our home the small issues that still existed were handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We would build another home with Jake and his crew. Thanks guysshow more

  It was a great experience. David helped me create a design plan and advised me with regards to materials, etc. He gave me options and allowed me to make the decisions. However, he gave me the information needed to make the best choices. The end result was a 'new' first floor that exceeded all my expectations, and a project that came in on time and within my budget. Three and a half years later I'm still thrilled with the project. The quality of the work done by Cummings Construction is excellent. It now extends all the way across the back of our house, suspended over our walk out basement, and is solid as a rock.   The project went smoothly and was accomplished to above and beyond my expectations. Garry Spotts is highly qualified, competent, experienced and professional, and his assistants and subcontractors all perform to his exacting standards. He is a master craftsman. He converted a tub/shower to a walk in shower in my master bath and it is truly a work of art, admired by all who see it and a real pleasure for me to use every day. My brother actually took pictures of it for inspiration to do one like it in his house in NY. I had a wallpaper craftsman in the house doing wallpaper (which Spotts design does not do) during the time of the renovation, and he spontaneously commented that the house looked wonderful and that he had never seen a project come together so smoothly and in such a timely manner in all his years of experience. (He did not know Garry Spotts and was referred by someone else), I could not be more pleased and will definitely use Spotts Design again for any future projects.   We had long sought out Brian Gilpin due to many of the homes with floor plans we liked were built by his company, Brian came to our home to discuss our plans to build a home based on some drawings we had. One of the drawings was based on a home that we had seen recently that was a lot like the original floor plan we had tweaked from online. He was very insightful, cordial and honest. He also emailed us some links to homes that he had built recently that we might be interested in. He let us know that in all honesty he couldn't build the house that was for sale for the price it was being offered at. Overall it was a good meeting and I would recommend Brian to anyone.If we do not buy the other home we will talk with Brian again. We love the "open" floorplans that he does...great utilization of space. Not a lot of "dead, unuseful" areasshow more

  They got bids for tree removal and had them grind the stumps. They drew up most space effective plans for the two bedrooms, bath and hallway. Took into consideration the water issues and made sure we had plenty of air movement to keep the basement as dry as possible. They gave me a bid for considerably less than other contractors and stayed within the bid. Started on time and finished ahead of schedule. They did plenty of "honey-do's" for me along the way with no complaint and made sure I knew how things were progressing and that I was getting the look and feel that I wanted to create. Honestly, I can't imagine a better experience. I have had contractors in other homes and never had this kind of service and professionalismshow more
