Michael and his team are phenomenal to work with. Communication is key for me and Michael provided daily updates during the process. I would highly recommend Michael and would not hesitate to hire for future projects.

CoMo Premium Exteriors
2.0
Do not use CoMo Premium Exteriors. Pay someone else to do premium work before it’s too late. They make promises and then blame everyone but themselves when their promises are unrealistic.. If you look at the common thread between all fo their complaints: They make big promises upfront and never deliver on timelines, hope that you don't notice poor workmanship. We waited six months for the delivery of 12 windows and one door, and when they arrived, it turned out the project manager forgot to order the door entirely. He said he was going to come back out and take measurements of the door again because he lost them, but he never did and appears to have just ordered something willy nilly that lost us about six inches from the doorway, three one each side. He also turned out to have not even measured all the windows so one didn’t fit and they had to cut a new hole in the house. The first “crew” to come out was one guy. He was allowed to come to our house after a police incident at another property where he screamed at the homeowners and broke things. We were not told this until after they were trying to cover their butts for the poor workmanship of the subcontractor they still sent to our house. This part of the job was supposed to take 3 days (THEIR estimate!). It took at least two weeks. The contractor left trash on the side of our house the whole time, dumping the old windows in the grass and resulting in broken glass all over our yard. We asked about cleanup and within seven days, nothing happened. Our interior contractor felt so bad that he cleaned it up for us himself, out of the goodness of his heart and concern over BROKEN GLASS in our yard. So trying to cover their butts, they fired our project manager mid-project and we spent the next 2 months waiting for their other project manager to come out. He said he would have “their best guy” come out and redo the entire project. That guy was great! He was supposed to be there in one week. It took 3 weeks for him to arrive. Then the job was supposed to take 3 days. It took a week, and they also never did everything they said they would, like fixing the door which we had to hire a different contractor to come fix so we can even open/close it. I don’t care if small mistakes are made on a job. What concerns me is this company will make you sign a payment agreement before they event get started on their delayed, mediocre work, and then you’re stuck paying for “professional” work that also involves a workman yelling at your wife and endless broken promises

Hodges Roofing & Siding

Greg was very detailed in helping us select the materials and colors and planning the work. His crews showed up on time and were very efficient in doing the work exactly as Greg had planned with us. We have had many comments on how beautiful our 30 yr old house looks with all the renovations and we would definitely highly recommend Hodges Roofing & Siding. Fast, efficient, and reasonably priced for the very high quality materials we chose

We have been very pleased with the work completed by Unlimited Handiworks. He has used new products, researched the best ways for installation, and offered fresh ideas. Erskine has done many different types of projects for us and we have always been pleased. He is also very pleasant to work with and considerate of one's personal space

This was a difficult job since nothing in our house is “standard”. The lighting had to be moved twice along with the medicine cabinet and the doorway had to me moved all to accommodate the new cabinets. Very pleased with the outcome.

Erskine Horton, the main man behind Unlimited Handiworks, did an excellent job. The house he had to work with was a Wick Home built in 1979 (meaning nothing in the house is "standard"), so the task wasn't without its problems but nothing Mr. Horton couldn't fix. The kitchen cabinets posed the biggest challenge since they were constructed unit-by-unit by Klervue, shipped in boxes with instructions on how to put them together. This type of cabinets was a first for Mr. Horton and he did a great job piecing them together. Mr. Horton was easy to work with, helped us in choosing the products for the buck, and made suggestions on how best to accomplish what we wanted the house to look like. He works best without over-the-shoulder monitoring but is open to suggestions or ideas and does like feedback on his work. We look forward to seeing what he does with the bathroom which will be thoroughly remodeled as well. Mr. Horton was always upbeat and ready to tackle whatever was scheduled for the day; he also has a great positive attitude. I've included before and after pictures of the kitchen (sorry they're not real good); pics of the rest of the house will have to come later

CENTRAL GARAGE DOOR
5.0
As the garage door rose, I saw two black objects fall to the ground. They appeared to be plastic parts of some sort of gear. When I tried to lower the door, nothing happened, so I knew right away that they must have been important to its operation! I immediately got online to Angie's List. The first company listed was Central Garage Door, and since all "grades" were an "A", I called to see if someone could at least come to give me an estimate to repair the door. Obviously, I couldn't leave home with the garage door open all the way. Although I was told someone would be there within the hour, it was less than 15 minutes later when the Central truck arrived. The gear was quickly replaced and as I'd been thinking about it anyway, I asked whether they could give me an estimate to install an external keypad for me. Well, there just happened to be a used but perfectly operational one in the truck and it was also quickly working just fine. Instead of just an estimate with a "We can do the work...", I had a working garage door and key pad within an hour's time. I am definitely a happy customer. The service was excellent; if I could give an A+, I certainly would. My garage door opener mechanism is pretty old; when I'm ready to replace it I will most certainly call Central Garage Door again

It went very well. They were prompt, did a professional job installing them, and all was timely done. Gave me instructions on how to use the new openers and remotes before leaving and told me to call them if I had any questions, which I did not.

CENTRAL GARAGE DOOR

Randy was great. The spring on my garage door broke and both our cars were trapped in the garage without being able to open the door. I called him at 6:45 am on Monday morning and he not only answered but also came out by 8 am and got my door open and then came back a little later and fixed the door. Amazingly professional and extremely reasonable. Above and beyond! Thank you

"I actually work for Window World and I don't usually review my place of work but I want to tell you that our owmers run an honest and wonderful company. I am proud to work there and proud of our products and lifetime warranty. The really care about their customers and employees and are definitely practicing safe working conditions during this pandemic. Don't hesitate to call.
Window World of Columbia offers vinyl replacement windows, doors, and vinyl siding.
"<p>First off, the salesman Russell was great. Very knowledgeable and informed on all aspects of what he was doing. I explained his was the first of three bids I was planning to get and he didn't get pushy. He did still try to close the sale on our first meeting but that's his job. He was also easy to contact and prompt to return calls. After talking to him for a while you start to wonder why in the world is this guy selling windows?! (Not knocking window salesmen) An interesting guy and a big part of the reason I chose Window World.</p>
<p><br /></p>
<p>Next, the windows. I'm not a home improvement type person, but they seem to me to be very good quality for the price and are a huge improvement over the old 1970's era wooden single pane windows I had. I could immediately tell a huge difference in how they keep the wind and cold out. Several of my friends in the construction industry were very impressed with the build and quality when I showed them. Time will tell further, but based on what I see, and lots of research, they are a huge step above basic builder grade quality.</p>
<p><br /></p>
<p>Last, the installation. The windows arrived ahead of plan and installation was scheduled quick and easy. They guys called when they were on the way and arrived on time. Overall everything went well. I did ask them to re caulk one of the windows as the bead was pretty ugly and got dirt in it. They took care of it right away. I later noticed one of the screens had a tear in it and they came back promptly and took care of it. Based on my experience, I expect to get good service in the future if needed.</p>
<p>A few small problems. One of the installers was standing on my front porch smoking. I believe you should ask the customer first if that's OK. I did politely ask him not to smoke. I guess I should have also asked him not to leave cigarette butts in my driveway. When they took the windows off the truck, a bunch of broken glass fell off and was left on my driveway. Per their paperwork, a normal amount of post construction clean up is the customer's responsibility but broken glass covering the width of my driveway is beyond normal post construction clean up. I didn't notice that until a few hours later so I just cleaned it up myself but I did contact the project manager and let him know about those issues. Another thing, as noted on their paperwork, they are not responsible for damage to shrubs or landscaping. I pointed out a particular shrub to the installer and they said no problem, they could work around it, but it was stepped on and destroyed. </p>
<p>As I stated though, I consider these to be small problems and will be purchasing more windows from Window World in the future and would recommend them.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p>

"Great. Mr. Horton removed an old concrete porch and built a new porch using treated lumber, he and his crew did an excellent job. They were here on time and at the end of each day cleaned up the job site. Mr. Horton went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the result, i would hire him again and recommend him to do work for anyone. He is pleasant cooperative but most of all does excellent work. He returned to do some repairs that needed to be done again made sure I was satisfied. It was so nice to work with someone who really cares about his customer and takes pride in the finished project. I have received many compliments on the improved looks of the front of my house, and how nice it now looks.
