Collaboration with clients and designers: superior homes born of thorough and effective collaboration between the three parties- client, designer and builder. Rigorous project management: on time and on budget protects delivered through clear communication, open books and project management. Empowered Employees: service to the client and the designer via service to the employee - happy employees create happy customers.

I have an older custom home with unusual construction of every kind. This was NEVER a problem. Each unforeseen issue was seen as an opportunity to improve the home.
The irrigation issues were immense, but they were transformed into a beautifully landscaped yard with immaculate masonry.
Jake stayed in constant communication, there were never any negative surprises or delays. We came in very close to budget, amazing since the actual work was more than I expected. Aarow's bid was a little higher than others, but well worth the differenc in real value. The highest quality products were used, it never felt like Aarow was skimping on anything. Quite the contrary, Jake, Henry and staff strived to do the most for the least cost, as if it was their own house.
My mother has used Aarow Building for years and loved the work and the fact that she can trust the owner (Jake) and his crew to be fair in quality of work, pricing, etc. So when I bought my first home I called Jake to get a bid and found him to be competitively priced and very easy to work with. He was always prompt and helped point out stuff I hadn't thought about. For example, he helped design a custom shower with tiling that looks way better (and will look better for longer) than the pre-fab fiberglass kit I was originally thinking about (and the tiled shower was in the same price range as the cheaper looking shower kit).
I liked that the owner worked alongside his crew for most of the project, although his crew seemed very knowledgeable as well. At any point they could explain why they were doing a particular part of the project a certain way and I got the sense that this is not a business that cuts corners. My mother is always able to trust that things were done the right way, and this was my experience as well. It's been a few months since they completed work and everything still looks great....I've seen no flaws in how anything was done at my home. Jake and the crew are very polite and professional and really seem to know what they're doing. And they worked hard to get the jobs done in a few days and with minimal disruption to my family.
I will continue to hire Aarow building for all my remodeling and repair projects- this seems to be one of the rare companies that you can trust will do the job right and be fair in their pricing! With the owner's design background as well as technical construction knowledge, you get, in my experience, a superior company and one where you can tell the workers share in the owner's commitment to quality and doing things the right way. I've referred other family or friends to them and they've been pleased as well. Worth getting an estimate from!
Recommendations were always appropriate and confirmed with previous installations (spray in insulation is amazing!) and never seemed like a method of making more money.
The crew were also very respectful of the house, our property and time. I came into the project a little leery of having random people in my home every day, by themselves. By about the first week, those fears were gone and those guys were awesome. Nothing to worry about at all.
Timeliness was impressive as this is a small company and they were balancing quite a few projects. Our project was taken care of in a time frame that we agreed upon and was never left on a back-burner.
Payments were made during the project (over the course of several months) and was something we agreed upon as well. There was never any pressure and the division of payments made sense.
All in all, we couldnt be happier. It was a signficant amount of money to spend but since installation we've basically been living in our basement. Just thrilled. Had our first Thanksgiving in the room, a Christmas party, New Years eve party...and with plans for a Super Bowl party as well. Money well spent, no regrets.
We feel strongly about posting this review in an attempt to save others from the awful experience that we had. His website states that the job isn't finished until the customer is happy, our experience was the opposite - we weren't happy with the work, the cost was 35% over what we planned to spend and he left us to finish it on our own with no warranty and no one to call noas problems arose with quality of work, now or in the future. Feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] if you have questions or want to hear more about our experience.
"Mr. [Member Name Removed] and our company have spoken multiple times on this matter and we have concluded that our handling of the situation could not have been any more professional or fair. Upon initial consultation (7-2014) with Mr. [Member Name Removed] it was explained that burying the downspouts on his home was the first step in many possible steps to remedy his basement water issues. Aarow, attempting to be conservative with our recommendations for work, recommended starting with one smaller cost option (burying the downspouts away from the foundation.) Mr. [Member Name Removed] agreed. The work was completed on budget (11-2014). We had previously discussed that this solution may not completely remedy the water issues. Aarow Building was initially notified of the issues remaining 10 months (9-2015) after the completion of work and made immediate steps to arrange a meeting with Mr. Ibrahaim. A second option was addressed at that time in an attempt to control the water and Mr. [Member Name Removed] declined any additional work. The interaction between Mr. [Member Name Removed] and Aarow Building contained no dishonesty on the part of Aarow Building and all work was completed as agreed upon."
The old fiberglass shower was small and the space available for the remodel was tight. Aarow's owner (Jake) was essential in the design of the new shower. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The remodel took longer than expected because of issues with the existing plumbing and concrete slab. Jake and Jeremy identified problems, came up with solutions, modified the plans and got it done. I am very pleased with the finished product. The shower is very accessible, easy to keep clean, and the Kohler fixtures are wonderful. Just what I wanted. The door fits perfectly. They also replaced the old tile surrounding the existing tub with subway tile to match the shower. It looks great. Jeremy used the old bypass shower door (which was still in good shape) to replace one in another bathroom. I was very pleased that he would take the time to do that for me.
We are very pleased with the sunroom door and with the work Aarow performed. Their recommendations for the replacement door were right on target--it is exactly what we wanted. Work was performed in a timely fashion. The installer was very easy to work with and considerate. The modifications we requested and a slight repair (scratch) were completed immediately and perfectly. I especially like that the owner (Jake) inspected the work and discussed it with me before presenting the bill.
We have already engaged Aarow Building to do another project for us. Once again, we are listening to Jake Bruton's recommendations about how the project should be designed and executed. We are optimistic about the result.
Jake's crew members were courteous, respectful, punctual and just downright friendly. We were completely comfortable leaving them in our home to work from the start. We lived in the home during this major renovation, and the crew always cleaned up whatever they could so we had as much space as possible to live. I would not hesitate to contact Jake at Aarow Building again to complete any of my home projects. We were lucky to have found him.
We will post photos of the work that Aarow building did as soon as we are done with some other minor renovations in our home.
