- Brown's FlooringIt all went great. Irene was wonderful to work with. She offered suggestions to some issues I had with my stairs and what I could do to keep the overall cost down without giving up the look I wanted. She explained the differences in the styles and brands of flooring, but then she allowed me space to look around and make my choices without hovering. She put together the estimate, and set the schedule for the work to be started and completed. She even called me halfway through the project to see how things were going and stopped by on the final day to check on things. I had three different sets of workers come out, all on time, one to rip up the tile in the kitchen and lay the new vinyl, one to remove the carpeting and lay the laminate, and one to lay the carpeting on the stairs. The guys who did the kitchen area had to move out of the way my washer, dryer, refrigerator and oven, they carefully moved them and reinstalled properly. My furniture was moved and put back where I had them with no issues. All of the workers were on time, polite and cleaned up after themselves, probably better than I would have done. Overall the experience was wonderful, I will definitely use Brown's again the next time I need flooring work done

Everything went smoothly and well from the measurement of the space to the final steps of the installation of carpet and laminate flooring. I was not a "high end" client, yet I felt treated as one by Ray Johnson (the owner) and the installers -- Chris and his crew. There isn't a single negative thing I can say about the whole experience, and I would recommend Key Carpet without any reservations. The price was VERY reasonable, the quality of the materials are excellent, and the sales and installation process superb

Whenever there were unexpected challenges that arose, Erskine was quick and calm about communicating the issue and brainstorming possible solutions. He showed his expertise in so many ways, and he also took time to listen to our goals and vision for the project. It was clear, that making us happy with the final result was the ultimate goal for Erskine. And it's refreshing to see someone who enjoys their work as much as he does. Can't say enough about the integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. I'm looking for other projects around the house to work with Erskine in the future

He hand cut and laid all the trim and pieces with superb precision. He is a people person who listens to what you want done and gives reliable advice based on his own experience. He is a “detail” workman doing his work like a master carpenter and clearly treats each job as if it was his own home. He arrived when he said he would and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving every day. I would not hesitate to recommend him
- Unlimited Handiworks LLCErskine Horton, the main man behind Unlimited Handiworks, did an excellent job. The house he had to work with was a Wick Home built in 1979 (meaning nothing in the house is "standard"), so the task wasn't without its problems but nothing Mr. Horton couldn't fix. The kitchen cabinets posed the biggest challenge since they were constructed unit-by-unit by Klervue, shipped in boxes with instructions on how to put them together. This type of cabinets was a first for Mr. Horton and he did a great job piecing them together. Mr. Horton was easy to work with, helped us in choosing the products for the buck, and made suggestions on how best to accomplish what we wanted the house to look like. He works best without over-the-shoulder monitoring but is open to suggestions or ideas and does like feedback on his work. We look forward to seeing what he does with the bathroom which will be thoroughly remodeled as well. Mr. Horton was always upbeat and ready to tackle whatever was scheduled for the day; he also has a great positive attitude. I've included before and after pictures of the kitchen (sorry they're not real good); pics of the rest of the house will have to come later
