"The company sent someone out to my house almost immediately to discuss the project and what events will happen. The satalite image and new cost estimate were handled very quickly.
The roof color was a little difficult to choose, since the color that I was interested in was only available on a sample board that they brought - and the sample board images were only a square inch in size. I felt a little better about the color selection when later I went on-line and using the color name and the name of the company who produced the shingles, I could see a larger pictures of houses completed in the color that I wanted. There was a bit of a wait as the company had to complete other roofing projects before getting to me.
The actual work done is amazingly fast. A completely new roof in only two days. The new shingles look great, it's a huge improvement to the house.
I was a little disappointed that the metallic step flashing added between the roof and any of the vertical surfaces was left exposed. Also I have noticed that line of the new roof is not level, along its bottom horizontal run on the back of the house, and not vertical in the front of the house where two slopes come together at a point. Also, I think that there are some extra shingles that were inadvertantly left on the roof above a sky-light.
