"Our experience with Capital was fantastic from start to finish. Tim was great about matching the specifics of what we wanted with our budget and space. Jeff was very professional and thorough about explaining to us our choices when it came to picking out a window and type of glass and he was great about communicating with us throughout the entire process. Bryan did a phenomenal job of installing our window -- we feel lucky to have had him work on our house. He knows what he is doing and paid attention to every detail. He installed a window that has transformed our kitchen and first floor. We are very happy with our experience."
"Called Beissel Windows & Siding and left a message for John. When he returned my call, John explained what was needed on my part to have a warrantied piece of glass shipped to them for installation. When the glass arrived, an appointment was made and a glass technician came to my home and did the replacement. All the Beissel employees were very professional and pleasant, and the work performed was top notch! "

"It went great. I'm pretty sure the old windows were the house's original ones (circa 1934) , and they were in very bad shape. Drafty, single-paned, lots of rot and decay in the frames. This was a job that couldn't be put off any longer. TCSP repaired ALL the frames, installed new double-paned thermal windows for most of the old ones. In the bathroom where the window frame was a particular disaster because of moisture, TCSP repaired the frame and installed a glass block window that lets in light but still provides privacy. On four windows which I did not wish to replace because I wanted to retain certain architectural features, TCSP, again repaired frames and then installed new screens and storms. From the beginning of the project, I was impressed by TCSP's focus on customer service. I interviewed and received estimates from several potential providers. Frankly, TCSP was the one I felt safest with. They gained my confidence that the job would be done well. Throughout the project communications and questions were responded to promptly. As a matter of fact, questions were encouraged. Answers and explanations were offered clearly (sometimes repeatedly) and always patiently. Here is what I wrote to Terry Stammen after the project was finished: Hello Terry, I want to thank you and everyone at Twin Cities Siding Professionals for my new windows. They're great. I'm very pleased. The project was completed in a timely fashion. All the workmen were able, pleasant and courteous. Curt was particularly helpful in tying up loose ends. The windows themselves are wonderful. I will have no hesitation about recommending TCSP to others in the future. Thank you again, very much. Tim Cope
"We replaced the windows in our 1933 home through the services of MadCity Windows. From the initial contact with their sales representative to final installation, the company provided top notch professional work. With the draft from the old windows and the cold of the glass, we are already saving on our energy bills. Our house had old, large windows, so they had to be custom made. As an industrial designer and interior designer, we find our windows to be of excellent quality."
"The glass display shelves that were hung look great. We also had wood shelves cut and wood supports installed in a bathroom linen closet. My only complaint is some of the staples/nails are exposed in a visible spot."

Clean regularly with glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials to prevent scratches.
You can use hot, soapy water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner, nail polish remover, WD-40, and cooking oil to remove glass labels. You can also apply heat with a hair dryer or steam cleaner. Use a plastic scraper or credit card to remove the adhesive, as a razor blade can permanently scratch your glass.
Replacing a glass pane is much less expensive than replacing your entire window. The average person will pay between $180 and $400 to replace a glass window pane. This price can vary based on a ton of factors, including labor costs in your area, special window treatments, and the number of panes on your window.
To tell if a window is single or double-pane, focus on the edge. Double-pane windows have two glass layers separated by a spacer, which you can usually see around the edges. For single-pane windows, it’s just one sheet of glass. Another easy trick: shine a light at the window—single-pane glass reflects once, while double-pane glass reflects twice. Lastly, if you feel both sides of the glass on a cold day, double-paned windows will feel warmer because of the insulating gap between the panes.
This can be a matter of personal preference, but a good rule of thumb is to center your bathroom mirror over the sink’s faucet. In some cases, if the sink is off-center in the vanity or you have multiple sinks in the same vanity, you may find it more aesthetically pleasing to center the mirror over the vanity.
