I am on the board of a townhome association and we originally reached out to Crosstown Concrete in 2020 to install a concrete flume to help with water management. They were provided a spec from an engineering firm we worked with and completed the work wonderfully. In 2021 we had a massive concrete project and a massive asphalt project we needed to get done. We worked with Crosstown on the concrete project to coordinate the removal and replacement of 23 garage floors as well as concrete aprons in front of the garages that ran the length of two of our buildings. Greg was great to work with. He responded quickly to phone and emails, came on site before the project began to work through details with us, even contacted some of the homeowners directly when they had questions or concerns. "Travis and his team were TOP NOTCH and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for concrete work or excavating. When we first met with him in the early spring of 2018 we told him we weren't in any rush and that we just needed to have the steps replaced by late October. We were pleasantly surprised when he called us in early August and said he'd be able to get to us in early September 2018. Within two days our cracked and crumbing steps were gone and replaced with new concrete that looked amazing thanks to Travis and his team. He and his entire crew were a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the final results of their work. It also should be said that Travis is a very cool guy that keeps things direct and simple - he's a real joy to work with from start to finish."

"We did not have to completely replace the side staircase or redo the basement entrance for both instances. They were able to rein-enforce, repair and resurface these deteriorated and previously moss covered and crumbling concrete areas. It was handled in 1.5 days. Very professional, kind and capable employees. Left the sight very clean and did a spectacular job on the repairs. The areas look like new entrances. Very well done! The price was great as well. No complaints. We’re very pleased with this company and will be using them again."

"I called several firms to get quotes on the repair and was surprised by the difference in prices quoted and in one case the scope of work to be performed. Most said that the cement crown and top 3-4 courses of brick would need replaced, one said the chimney would need to be taken down to the roof level which just didn't make sense as the damage was clearly only on the top. Joe was very prompt in scheduling a visit and by the time I met with him I'd already spoken with the other firms so I had a pretty good idea of the work that needed to be done. I liked the fact that he focused on what *needed* to be done rather than what was possible--I was getting these bids because I didn't know what needed to be done and wanted professional advice. Joe provided a clear scope of work and I was confident in his ability to do it properly. The fact that his bid was several hundred less than the others led me to believe that the others were charging more than necessary. Joe was good with communication about when the job would start (3-4 weeks out from my acceptance of his bid), and good with keeping me posted as they got closer to being ready to do the job. The crew showed up within the timeframe Joe said they would, and quickly set up their scaffolding and tarps on the roof around the chimney. After an afternoon's work they had the old materials removed down to the sound masonry and the new masonry and stone drip cap installed. The chimney was properly covered against the rain we got that night. The next morning the crew was back to put on the concrete crown and clean up including washing the chimney. The chimney was again covered as there was the possibility of rain. The following morning the crew was back to remove the covering, scaffolding and do a final cleaning. Each member of the crew was good natured and polite & it seemed to me that they had a good working relationship with each other. Nothing worse than having a bad feeling about the folks doing work for you and in this case there was none of that, these guys were pros and a pleasure to have working on our home. All of the work was just as Joe initially described it. They did end up taking off more brick than originally estimated, so the final cost was $150 over the bid. While I kept an eye on the progress, I didn't realize they'd done more than planned so was a little skeptical when Joe told that there would be an additional charge. Upon inspection I could clearly see what they'd done and I was happy to pay the small additional charge given that they did what was necessary to do a first class job. While I would normally expect to be notified in advance if the bid is to be exceeded, in this case the overage was modest and the work very good so I didn't have an issue with it. The final cost was still hundreds less than the next bid. Overall my wife and I were extremely pleased with Joe, his crew, and the work they did. We would have no hesitation recommending Metro Chimney and Masonry to any of our neighbors. Joe does great work at a fair price and provided a 3 year warranty on the work performed."

"The stamped concrete asphalt and apron for the driveway went fairly smoothly.  One of the blocks cracked (no real fault of the company, sometimes concrete just cracks) and the company fixed it no questions asked.
The original driveway was poorly done in the past, and ODD had to dig up remnants of 2 poorly poured concrete driveways put in by the builder.  It ended up taking an extra 3 tons of gravel to fill the driveway.  The asphalt was put in in October of 2014, but it was too cold to color the asphalt until late May/June of 2015.  The driveway looks great. 
There were a number of complications with this project that ODD handled very well and professionally.   ODD was not the cheapest option available, but the quality and professionalism was high, and the price was OK.  We would recommend them.
