The patio extension looks nice and was completed quickly for a good price. My only complaint is that with the wet weather the day before they left behind some significant ruts in the lawn. I'll have to rototill and re-seed those areas later this summer.

Rory and team did an unbelievable job, they communicated clear expectations and job timeline and executed the job to perfection. The walkway and patio looks amazing, clean lines, beautiful color and stamp, it will be the focal point of our backyard for years to come. The were courteous and respectful, showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. I've already recommended them to a friend and would absolutely hire them again.

Gardner Construction provided a project estimate one day after contacting them. Scott walked through options and provided honest recommendations for the garage floor and foundation repair that was needed. Any questions I had regarding the process or estimate were answered promptly. Gardner (Scott and crew) did an outstanding job replacing the garage floor and deteriorated foundation cinder blocks. The crew showed up early every day, were polite and respectful and got right to work. They went above and beyond in how they conducted their work and explained the process and improvements they were making to do the job right. The job site was kept organized and they cleaned up very well after they were completed each day. The entire crew was trusting, professional and knowledgeable - and aimed for quality and perfection. Highly recommend!

It went great for 10+ years. The top of the retaining wall is starting to lean so we had them out to get an estimate on repair. Turns out, from the owners down to the sales rep 'we don't do walls higher than 3 feet'. Well at one time they did and now they are not willing to work on a solution for fixing it. We understand that a wall over 10+ years old is past its warranty but I would expect if they did the work --- they would want to make it right. Stay away from these guys . . . .

"The company has new ownership and staff since the original work was completed in 2010 and retaining walls are no longer a focus of our business, nor our area of greatest expertise. We weren't the right contractors for this project and we responded to the inquiry directly and honestly. Gardner Construction absolutely stands by our work. A business providing a different set of services a decade later is not the same as refusing to stand by our work. Our sales staff won't bid something we can't stand behind and that is why we wouldn't take this job."

The appraisal on my prospective purchase of 120 year old house found very serious foundation problems. A nightmare. Then I found Jerry Gardner and his Gardner Construction company. Jerry inspired my confidence immediately. He clearly demonstrates his decades of experience and knowledge, and has a true dedication and work ethic. His friendly work crew holds Jerry in such high regard; they offer a team that is truly remarkable. After dealing with a leak in one corner of our basement for over 20 years we finally decided to do something about it and called Gardner Construction to come take a look. Jake was great and suggested a couple solutions to our problem. We had them put drain tile in our basement and replace part of aggregate sidewalk to keep the water away from the foundation. They came and everyone was courteous and very professional. Jake and Cole were very patient with me and all of my questions. They did a terrific job, they were able to dig into the basement floor while keeping the dust to a minimum which kept the rest of the house clean, made sure to clean up after their work and the aggregate they put down was beautiful. Gardner Construction was awesome and I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone who needed their services.

Our small HOA has used Gardner Construction 4 times over the years for a variety of projects. Their work and pricing were excellent. We would easily recommend them to others! Jerry and his team were here early and worked very hard. It was freezing cold out too. Jerry is very communicative and we knew what was going on every step of the way. It only took them 2 days and they left everything in tip top shape.

We did not have to completely replace the side staircase or redo the basement entrance for both instances. They were able to rein-enforce, repair and resurface these deteriorated and previously moss covered and crumbling concrete areas. It was handled in 1.5 days. Very professional, kind and capable employees. Left the sight very clean and did a spectacular job on the repairs. The areas look like new entrances. Very well done! The price was great as well. No complaints. We’re very pleased with this company and will be using them again.

Fantastic!! They knew exactly what caused the problems and had an excellent plan to correct the problems. Very professional crew. They completed the job in a very timely manner. They were also extremely careful in protecting our yard from the equipment they needed to use. They had a large crew and did a great job of clean up as well. They were responsive in giving me an estimate and in doing the work, in spite of the number of houses having similar problems in this very rainy summer. Price was right (in line with others who provided estimates) and the crew did the work quickly and well. Took the time to call me down to the basement a couple of times as they worked to show me what they were doing and explain what they'd do next. I really appreciated that kind of customer service and friendliness!

Seth responded in a timely manner, proposed several ways of solving the problem, and offered additional suggestions to help with the drainage around the stairwell, which was the source of the original damage. He was willing to look at the project holistically, and knowledgable on all aspects of the job. Many concrete companies will limit their involvement to only the concrete work itself, but most projects are rarely so clear cut. We had a portion of the wall rebuilt with new block, new rebar, and a finish parge coat. Railings were removed and reinstalled. The grade was modified using new fill, new river rock and edging.
