"Contractors are not allowed to post pictures/exceed 2048 characters. Please contact me for full response/pictures 9/23/19 First email from [Member Name Removed] “Interesting quote,I had a landscaper who proposed to do a similar constructed sidewalk with landscaping for $2.5K less than your proposal, oh and that was with the excavation. Appears to be an amount of fleecing of a perceived senior citizen,I am a senior citizen who happen to work for a Fortune 100 company, in a highly technical capacity.I just don't see how this quote can be justified, based on other quotes on pre-excavated concrete sidewalk building. Also, this is not the email that I requested that you send the quote, I rarely use this mailbox, but it's a moot point anyway, now that I know the nature of the company.” 4/9/20 [Member Name Removed] signed the original proposal/hired us to install a parking pad/apron/sidewalk too 4/21/20 [Member Name Removed] emailed “Can we meet at $3350.00 cash?” 7/28/20 Parking pad/apron installed by 5/19/20. Notified 7/28/20 at 5:37 PM via email there appeared to be a crack/flaking of the concrete by the apron/parking area. This also just happened to be the same day there was another contractor working onsite. Until this point we hadn't been notified of any discrepancies in our work- over two months later 10/8/20 Looked at panels and said we would tear it out and replace it 3/23/21- 6/14/21 In contact with [Member Name Removed] 9 times keeping him updated on the schedule. 5/27/21 [Member Name Removed] requested an inspection of the concrete 6/7/21 Cemstone Rep met with [Member Name Removed], explained hairline cracking was a direct cause from freeze/thaw cycle and chipped concrete could either be repaired/patched 6/13/21 We offered to carry out the proposed solutions 6/14/21 [Member Name Removed] said “This is inadequate response as it does not address several issues.” 6/15/21 Met with [Member Name Removed]. He was persistent that he didn’t want us to tear out and replace the two chipped panels and had other professionals coming by to assess all the concrete as our opinion and Sales Rep were not sufficient and neither was our proposed solution."
