"We used Above the Crowd Moving for our move from Minneapolis to Shoreview. Couldn't have been more happy with their service. They aren't the cheapest option in town but their prices are competitive and they don't nickel and dime you with extras. Scheduled a 3 man crew to move our whole house. I was moving most of the garage and yard items myself. They arrived promptly with 4 guys (1 in training) and got right to wrapping furniture and packing. Still only charged me for the 3 man crew. They were flexible with some of the things I requested and got the whole place packed up in 2.5 hrs (3 bed, 2 bath, 2000 sqft house). Unloading went just a smoothly. Everything was put in the correct rooms and beds were reassembled quickly. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future if needed.

"I called Tony for an estimate and he was out to give his estimate within a couple of days.  His crew of three or four people were out when the rainy weather cleared the next week, and they had the jpb done in about 4 hours. They did a very good job of clean up as they hauled away all the debris.  I am a very pleased customer and would definitely hire this company again.  Very personable and efficient.

Hauling questions, answered by experts

During a waste removal appointment, professionals assess the scope, organize items for removal, and safely transport them for appropriate disposal or recycling. Clients can expect efficiency, thoroughness, and clear communication throughout the process, resulting in a clutter-free space.

Professionals safely remove water or fuel tanks by emptying the contents, cutting and disconnecting lines, and lifting the tank for disposal while adhering to environmental regulations.

Begin by calling your waste management company to check if there was a reason the garbage truck skipped your home this time. If there is no clear explanation or you cannot reach a representative, call your local sanitation department to report the issue. In this case, be sure to take notes about how often the company doesn't pick up your garbage or and whether you were able to contact the business.

Charcoal that contains lighter fluid or other additives is considered hazardous waste. Natural lump charcoal with no additives is not considered hazardous waste, although it is a flammable material. Burned charcoal that is reduced to ash is not considered hazardous waste and can be disposed of in an appropriate container in an outdoor trash barrel.

Wood is a very versatile material, so you can either compost it, use it for firewood, turn it into wood chips, or save it for future projects. If you don’t want excess wood cluttering your garage or workspace, you can call local community centers or schools to see if they have a need for it.
