"In the ad, the thing that attracted me to the posting was they would donate items that could be donated, that did not happen and didnt even seen to be a thought in the crew that arrived's mind. They needed to be reminded to sweep, which was included in the service and left a mess on the driveway behind the truck where they broke up the furniture that could have been donated. I feel like you should not say you will donate if that is not the intention. also, you are paying alot for them to take very little in actual stuff...."

"We had a fantastic experience. The crew kept us informed of what would or would not fit in the truck, how to prioritize items to transport in our vehicles, and the timeline of the move. The crew was friendly, professional, and really amazing. Such a great customer experience during a stressful time. We managed to fit everything in the truck, and they got everything to the house in one piece. Again, this was simply an amazing customer experience. I'm glad I found them. Great investment to make the move easier on us.

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

You can cut costs and expedite the process of junk removal by following a few essential steps. Use these methods to save on junk removal costs:

  • Sorting items and debris into one area to reduce sorting costs.

  • Contacting local charities or donation centers for free or reduced-cost pickup of donations.

  • For tree-related items like branches, advertise to community members looking for free firewood.

  • Conduct one large clean-out instead of many smaller ones to reduce materials and labor costs.

Depending on your location, you can bring items to your local dump. It’s important to check their guidelines on what they accept, as not all dumps will take all items.

In addition, renting a dumpster is an option in most areas. Renting a dumpster will cost around $400 for a week, including the cost of hauling it away. However, it does not include labor to lift heavy items into the dumpster. If you have very large or heavy items, chemicals, or other items that you cannot bring to your local dump, contact a junk hauling company.

Grading complexity, debris removal volume, equipment, labor, and permits determine expense levels.

It’s not difficult to dispose of wood pellet ash, but you should always let it cool completely before disposal to avoid it sparking a fire. If you’ve got an energy-efficient pellet stove, there shouldn’t be much to empty from the ash box, anyway. However, once the ash has cooled, you might consider composting it or simply adding it to your garden or plant soil. The ash is full of minerals, not chemicals, so it’s a wonderful fertilizer for grass and plants.

Yes, many states have laws that require e-waste recycling. These include North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, just to name a few. Search online for your state and municipality’s regulations on e-waste for more specific information.
