"I was expecting good work, given the previous reviews, but this blew me away!  Hal has an attention to detail that is truly not seen in this day and age.  He rounded the edges of every board used in the fence.  The spacing between boards were all customized so that every section looked perfect. He created a deck that captured the style of the house, and also created a seamless transition between the decks on either side.  The arbors are lovely.  He talked me out of a few things and came up with better solutions that I love. He also listened to my ideas and went with them when they made sense.
The guy is a craftsman!  Little things matter:  perfect beveled corners on the deck.  A birdhouse needed to be re-located as part of the project.  Hal noticed that the birds were still nesting in it, so worked around it and came back to relocate it when it was safe.  Then, without my asking, he fixed the birdhouse so that it would be easier for me to clean it.
I've had many, many glowing comments from friends, neighbors, and family.  People I know who do carpentry for a living were also very impressed by his work.
Things you should know:  This is not a big operation.  It's Hal plus a helper or two.  You need to be flexible on starting dates, and it may take longer to finish than you think it will.  Hal cuts all the boards in his shop before assembly on site - he really does.  If it seems like the project should be starting and you don't know why he's not on site, that's why.  The finished product is totally worth the wait.

"Larry did an absolute fabulous job with everything, especially the install of the screen door.  The opening was less than perfect but Larry made sure the door fit to perfection.  He was also able to fix the soffit so it's now back in place and replaced the piece of siding so it should not come down again.  

Larry also was able to give me a bid to finish a bathroom project that I've started and am unable to complete on my own.  The bid is extremely reasonable and Larry and I decided he'll be back to do the job this Fall.  I can't wait and know he'll do an equally a great job as all the others he's completed already."

Cady Handyman scheduled one of his service tech to come out the follow morning.
The tech arrived promptly at the scheduled time with a friendly ready to fix our problem attitude.
We have raised nails and screws on our deck that always seem to reappear during winter months.
These raised nails and screws made snow removal just horrible.The Cady tech recommened that we remove many of the bad loose fastners and replaced with a new non-corosive styles of screws.
After a complete walk through of our project we were extremely satified.

With our project completed we are now looking forward to the winter to come.

"As a result of undetected water slowly leaking from the sliding shower door, mildew had developed under the flooring and there was a small area of water damage on the wall. Honey Doers were very professional, friendly and prompt. Rick was at my house and had an estimate for me within days of my initial call. He was straightforward (which I appreciated) and told me exactly what his plan was for detecting where the water was coming from and the different scenarios depending on the source of the leak. He started with the most obvious, which was re-caulking the shower and shower door. Once we were confident the leak had stopped, he then moved on to removing the vinyl and the subfloor (I think that's what it's called) that had the mildew and took the toilet out. A subcontractor came to install the new flooring and once the floor was installed, Rick was back within the hour to put the toilet back in place. He had new trim to install but noticed it would not match the older woodwork because the clear finish on it had yellowed. So he had his painter stain the new trim to match the old and was back in a few days to install it. It matched so well you'd never know it wasn't the original trim. Because it was one of those frigid days, I let him use my basement workroom to cut the trim and when he was done, he cleaned it up even cleaner than how he found it! I have a few more projects I'm saving up to do, and will definitely call Honey Doers to do the work!"

Arrived on site at appointed time. Explained procedure and when there would be loud noise from tools.

Prepared door frame for larger door. Installed new door with lever handles. Periodically updated us on progress.

Took normal break and lunch. Informed us when leaving and when returning.

Finished product was so well done that you could not tell the floor transition to LR from BR wasn't re-done.

The new door and hardware was elegant and, and the rooms in the work area were cleaned of any construction residue.

Work crew was very quiet and polite.
