"We had a great experience with Clif. He far exceeded our expectations of a Plumber. It started with his unbelievably quick response to me after submitting my service request. It was almost 9pm, and literally 2 minutes after I clicked "send" I got a phone call from him. Very impressive! He was flexible in scheduling the appointment, on time to the appointment, committed to finding the cause of our issue, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I am completely satisfied in the work he provided, and will definitely contact him again if I am ever in need of another Plumber. Thank you again Clif for all your help!"

"Robb was quick to return my call and it was easy to schedule a time for him to come to my home. He arrived on time and the replacement of my outdoor faucet and fix of my shower faucet was all done within 30 minutes. He took care to not make a mess and was very professional and courteous. "After 15 years in my current home, I was finally getting granite countertops. I was so excited. I went to Paramount on the advice of a friend who had used them. From the start they were very helpful. They answered any and all questions I had. I looked at multiple granite places, and I ended up selecting my granite at another business. Paramount did an excellent job coordinating the delivery of the granite to their site in a quick and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to measure our kitchen was professional and on time. Paramount allowed me to come down to the company and they put up all three slabs they were using for my kitchen and put the template of my counters, island and desktops on them. They were patient and helpful in deciding where to cut the granite to get the maximum effect I was looking for. (Lots of movement). Along the way, I made changes - edges of the granite, backsplash changes and added sinks and faucets. They patiently updated my invoice and emailed me the updates to the project within an hour every time.  I never felt they were frustrated or upset with me, and they treated me with respect. The installers were on time and professional.  They did an excellent job and I love it. I have had many compliments on them and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks!"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Common problems include leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. Regular maintenance prevents major disruptions.

Yes, $5,000 is a healthy budget for a DIY bathroom renovation. It can go a long way in making the space more accessible and stylishly spa-like. Providing you stick to modest materials and don’t make any major plumbing or structural changes, you can upgrade fixtures, retile, and add some stylish bathroom accessories and savvy storage solutions to maximize the space.

Left unattended, a leaking toilet will eventually cause water damage or mold growth. If you’re a homeowner, you can file an insurance claim for water damage. However, that can be a long and tedious process; sometimes, your insurance company may not cover the damage. Therefore, it’s always best to fix any leak you notice right away if you can.

While technically possible, it is unlikely that a clogged toilet will fix itself. Clogs caused by water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water, allowing flow to resume. However, this can take time, and any clogs from solid objects require manual removal. In most scenarios, especially if you don't have another bathroom, it is best to fix the clog yourself or call a plumber.

Tools include a wrench, plunger, and wax ring. Professionals use specialized tools for complex installations.
