"The two plumbers that came to the house did an excellent and efficient job fixing a number of problems in the original plumbing on the sinks, faucets, and toilets of a ~50 year old house. There were some problems with both the old plumbing and some of the new faucets that we bought as replacements that they solved on the spot. They were very respectful and hard working. I appreciated the detailed list of the cost of all of the work in advance of their visit. They came in a little under the estimate."

"Oscar came over on a Monday evening (7/14) around 6:50pm. Was expecting extra charge for after-hour work but he didn't do that. He did an excellent job with the drain and showed me where the problem was. Also, when he retracted the drain snake, a piece of the old piping, at least 20 years old, came out of the wall and he cut a new piece and replaced the old one. His pricing was cheaper than everyone else who reached out through Angie's List and other companies i reached out to. The completed work was almost cheaper than the price quoted from one company for just coming out to "look" at the project the next day (they would come out today for an extra charge of $150 because it was after 5pm). Oscar owned the company, Tapia Sewer and Drain, and I definitely recommend anyone looking for good honest work from a hard worker. Oscar left the kitchen spotless when he was done. Thank you Oscar! Will definitely reach out in the future when needed."

"Part for bathroom fixture has to find or order new fixture for bath. He replaced the furnace GFCI switch and installed new pump (which I supplied). It was fantastic to deal with friendly professional people. They were very considerate and took into account my husbands medical situation. I will have them back to install bathroom fixture and a few other things I we need done. They were very neat and tidy. They are my electricians now and in the future. I hadn't needed an electrician for 15 years, so prices can be a shock, but this company is well worth it."

He explained everything very well and provided me with recommendations that fit my needs and my wallet. McDonough's Services returned my call the same day I called them, and scheduled cleaning the pipe(s) the following day. I received another call the next day confirming someone would be out, and the technician called shortly after that to let me know he would be arriving within an hour, which he did. Chad was personable, and started the job right away.  He cleaned the pipes--to make sure they were clear--but he thought the major problem was the old cap he found lodged inside the pipe; this lodged cap prevented the water from draining properly and so the water backed up from our drain into our laundry room.  Chad said the cap was difficult to get out.  We are very grateful he found it as our laundry room flooding situation has been going on for a long time.  We were very pleased with McDonough?s Services, and would definitely hire them again.

"I gave an N/A on price because I live in a condo and this luckily turned out to be not my problem, financially, but the price I was quoted over the phone was expensive but within expectations for an emergency visit. I was having tub and toilet back-up when other units used their bathroom plumbing, but Brett found the issue outside of my unit and the association took over. Cutting Edge was able to get here on very short notice after the problem had escalated rapidly, Brett did a great job, and everything went smoothly. I only gave a C for Professionalism because Brett did not show up in a mask and did not wear one. He didn't really spend time in my unit as the problem was outside, and the association took over as I said, so I didn't end up bringing that up, but definitely anyone arriving at a home to do work, indoors or out, should show up in a mask and not remove it when around the homeowner (or not at all when inside the home)."
