The basement now has potential to be nice area of use and living for years ahead. The service is a expensive purchase for homeowner but it is a needed purchase for my home. The finishing job leaves the need with more work if your basement floor was rough from the years of water damage. They did stop any future water damage for my home and it is safe to spend more for more fine finishing. They completed what was contracted."

"We needed work completed before the arrival of out-of-town guests. Dmitriy came over to do the estimate and provided a time estimate that proved to be extremely accurate. He made a special effort to schedule the job so it would be completed before our guests arrived. He and his drywall installer arrived on time, covered the flooring near the work area and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. The drywall finishing was exceptional, and the framing of our closet area looks better than the original, with a custom-made door that fit perfectly. We are extremely pleased with the work on our bathroom and the meticulous workmanship that went into it. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
