"Worst company that I have ever worked it. In my experience, plain dishonest. They have not only made a terrible job on my furnace installation (which replacement need was questionable - my mistake of agreeing to it), they also damaged my perfectly working AC. Now, they are giving me the run around for 4 months to refund the AC damage. I've been calling multiple time per week and also went in person to their office. Before wasting your hard-earned money, pay them a visit at 9609 Girard Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431 and get inside the office, then make your decision."

I had a lot of issues with my back yard with water standing and it was difficult to use the back yard and cut the grass without causing damage. He recommended building French trenches which resolved the issues. The work was done timely and less costly than other companies. I highly recommend him and his team. I gave him 10/10."

"Let me start this by saying that I'm a detail oriented guy. I work in the mechanical trades, and I'm very familiar with the practices used by contractors. Both good and bad. With that in mind, I needed to hire someone to redo a very poor landscaping job that I inherited. I looked at a small handful of companies that I knew to have a good reputation. Groundworks is a family operated business. I met initially with Gary, who owns it along with his wife. He provided an initial estimate, and was clear about what would be done. He uses his own employees, no sub-contractors or temporary help. In fact, his son Chris was the crew leader on my project. With more than 20 years of experience, I was in good hands with Chris. The scope of the project was initially smaller than the end result due to the hidden issues that were uncovered when work got under way. Gary and Chris worked with me to correct those problems at a price that was more than fair given the time and effort involved. You can adjust the mixing valve on your shower if it uses a single handle to control both hot and cold water by removing the handle and adjusting the cap on the mixing valve. The cap fits over the valve handle and creates a low and high point for your handle to spin. Remove the cap and turn it to adjust how it mixes hot and cold water, and then replace the cap and reinstall the handle.

Ensure there’s a way to flush out excess water from the generator. There will either be a bin you can pull to dump water down the drain or a simple button if your generator is hooked up to a drainage pipe. 

 Ideally, you’ll want to drain after every shower, but there will be a mark on the generator that shows how much water it can hold. Failing to drain the generator can lead to automatic shut-offs or damage.

Installing a gas line can be extremely time-consuming and dangerous, so you will want to hire a seasoned professional. Perform a thorough search ahead of time to find a reputable and reliable plumber. Pay special attention to licensing and insurance as you go about choosing the best contractor for your needs.

It can be helpful to open one or two faucets before turning on the water main again. Turning off the main shut-off valve will introduce some air into your pipes. Having at least one faucet open should allow the air to clear as the water refills the pipes. Try to open faucets far from the main shut-off valve and on the highest floor of the house.
