"Speaking on behalf of our business, we were very pleased with the install of a new roof drain, replacing an old plugged drain and the removal of @ 50,000-pounds of water off our warehouse roof. We know shall need additional maintenance and roof repairs and D&L Commercial Roofing shall be our first choice to keep our old building in tip-top shape."
"While removing the old roof, the aluminum coverings on our mansard roof dormers were damaged. The roofing crew attempted to repair the damage but the result was not satisfactory. As compensation they deducted a small amount from the total bill."
"Installation crew were pros. 19sq roof, complete underlay tear off to reshingle; 6 guys showed up at dawn and finished by dinner; thorough clean up and looks great. No choice but to pay full price in current market. Quality work, definitely recommend."
"All of the Rapid Roofing employees that we dealt with from the initial visit with Lee at our house to Gabriel and his team during installation were fabulous. Very professional and considerate to our needs. The process was very quick and had the roof done with in a week of contacting them. We recommend Rapid Roofing ."

"Very well. This was our first siding project and involved the complete replacement of original, 37 year-old aluminum siding and gutters on a single family colonial home. It was also the most costly home improvement project we had undertaken. Andy Kondrath was punctual and knowledgeable in giving us a firm written estimate of work to be performed, provided photographic examples of his company's previous work, cited previous work performed in our own neighborhood as a reference point, and clearly explained the overall project, including materials options, techniques, and installation schedule. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and experienced in this type of work and on our type of home. We were reassured by the fact he does not use sub-contractors and payment would not be due until after completion of the job (with the exception of a $1K deposit). Andy also gave us helpful ideas and insights in selecting the colors and styles for the new siding and shutters based on the experiences of his previous customers, industry trends, and current home buyer preferences. Andy conceded he was not the lowest-cost siding contractor, but we decided that quality and value were more important than absolute price point. There were no high-pressure sales tactics and services were ultimately delivered just as promised during the estimate. Jeff Kondrath was on-site to oversee the siding work and manage a large crew, which finished the siding work as scheduled and projected (3-1/2 days for an all-siding colonial). Site clean-up was prompt and thorough. Separate, smaller crews were dispatched the following week to install gutters and a couple weeks later to install the shutters, which we color-matched after the siding was installed and which had to be special ordered. When one change was requested on the completed gutter work, the crew promptly returned the following day to add a downspout over a lower roof. The final result was an exceptional upgrade to the exterior appearance of our home and to its expected energy efficiency this winter, since the work also included new insulation being placed underneath the siding. On the last day the crews properly re-attached all accessories (e.g., exterior light fixtures, garage door keypad, electrical outlet covers, etc.). They also ran wires to the satellite dish under the siding rather than stapled to the outside of the house as before and installed new light fixtures and a doorbell button (which we had purchased separately to match the new siding's color/style). At our request, Andy also used stone veneer siding in the front porch area as an accent. The final fit and finish of the siding, gutters, accessories, and caulking were all excellent. One note of caution if you have siding work performed when landscape flowers, shrubs, or trees are nearby--cover or protect them during work. In order to access work areas, crews had to erect/move ladders and haul materials over, around and through landscaped areas, which took a beating. If you have a prize rose bush (which we don't), be sure to protect it before work begins. Fortunately our job was done in the fall and the flowers/shrubs/trees should come back just fine next spring."
"I choose Llamas Construction to repair the roof leak in my attached garage and to tuck point my front porch and replace the front step. Julian was professional and courteous and came out to walk through the work I needed completed. He accessed the roof to see where the leak was occuring and took pictures and explained how he would remedy the issue.
We set a date for him to come out, he repaired the the first day and blocked the porch off with cones to all or mortar to set. The next day they came out and repaired the roof and extended my downspout to the gutter.
I am happy with the work and would recommend using Llamas Construction."
"Ripcord Construction did a roof repair for me and got it done within a few days of my phone call. I will hire them again if i need work done on my house."
Re-roofing is the process of placing a layer of shingles over top of existing shingles, rather than pulling out those shingles and replacing them. Compared to a full roof replacement, re-roofing typically costs less and requires less labor and time. It's not an option for everyone, though. You may need a full roof replacement if your roof already has more than one layer of shingles. A full replacement may also be necessary if your roof has extensive damage.
While you can stay at home during a roof replacement, you probably won’t want to, as it’ll be very noisy. The area around your home will also be messy, as roofers will be discarding old roof material and storing their equipment on the ground.
You cannot replace granules that have been lost off shingles. The granule embedding process is part of shingle manufacturing, and once the bond holding the granules to the shingles has been lost, the granules are gone for good. Shingles with granule loss must be fully replaced to continue offering adequate protection.
You should hire a roofing professional to install a metal roof, as it’s an essential part of your home and a difficult installation. Your roof provides the most protection for your home among all of the building materials, and any mistakes made during the installation process can quickly lead to roof leaks, water damage, and significant repair costs. A roofing professional will ensure your new roof is installed properly and according to building code to minimize that risk, and they will usually back the installation and materials with a roof warranty for added peace of mind.
This will depend on your existing roof to some degree, but it’s common to raise a roof 4 to 8 feet. The exact amount you can raise is subject to the existing structure. For most homes with average roof slopes—20 to 45 degrees—you can raise the roof around 5 feet.
