"Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. There were no cost surprises at the end of the project. They also work with a credit company that can finance the project for a good deal (no interest for 18 months at that time). The team was professional and they finished the work on time (the actual work took about two days). The cost was maybe a bit more pricey than the average, but the job was well done and without extra costs or surprises at the end."

"We had a very disappointing experience with Randazzo Heating & Cooling. A technician came out and claimed a part in our AC unit was broken, quoting us over $700 for the replacement. After the part was installed, the AC still didn’t work. He then said the issue was due to low R22 refrigerant, but also told us that they no longer carry R22 because it's outdated. His solution? Replace the entire unit — at a cost of over $7,000. We end up find someone else to fix the AC. Unfortunately, the $700+ we already paid Randazzo was completely wasted. This experience felt like upselling and misdiagnosis, and we would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honest or competent service."

"I hired Big Ike’s to repair a roof leak. The worker they assigned to the job was either late or didn't show up to the scheduled appointments, except for the initial estimate, of course. This person also texted and called me at 1:30 AM which was highly unprofessional. The person finally came out to repair the roof but a week later the same spot was still leaking the same as it was prior to them coming out. I reported it to the person assigned to the job and did not receive a response until I made several contacts. They scheduled a time to come out again and completely blew me off. I contacted the manager to voice my frustrations and sent her all of the communications showing the unprofessional behavior. She apologized profusely and said they would send someone else out, as I requested not to have the same person return. AGAIN I had to follow up to get something scheduled and the day they were supposed to come out I received a call that they would be late and ultimately that they would need to reschedule. The new guy said he would bring a several materials to attempt to fix the problem and that he would definitely be out the next day. The next day comes and goes and no one showed up. Finally after another call to the manager, someone shows up at my house at 7 PM and it ended up being the original guy they sent to do the job! He went on the roof for less than 20 minutes and threw more caulk on and then left. I contacted the manager again to express my dissatisfaction but received no response. At that point I took to the internet to share my experience with this company. A few days later I was contacted by the owner who said he was going to come out and review the work. The owner came out on the date and time that he committed to and it seems as though the leak is now repaired which I am glad about, but unfortunately one (or two) employees made this a very painful experience."
