I hired Big Ike’s to repair a roof leak. The worker they assigned to the job was either late or didn't show up to the scheduled appointments, except for the initial estimate, of course. This person also texted and called me at 1:30 AM which was highly unprofessional. The person finally came out to repair the roof but a week later the same spot was still leaking the same as it was prior to them coming out. I reported it to the person assigned to the job and did not receive a response until I made several contacts. They scheduled a time to come out again and completely blew me off. I contacted the manager to voice my frustrations and sent her all of the communications showing the unprofessional behavior. She apologized profusely and said they would send someone else out, as I requested not to have the same person return. AGAIN I had to follow up to get something scheduled and the day they were supposed to come out I received a call that they would be late and ultimately that they would need to reschedule. The new guy said he would bring a several materials to attempt to fix the problem and that he would definitely be out the next day. The next day comes and goes and no one showed up. Finally after another call to the manager, someone shows up at my house at 7 PM and it ended up being the original guy they sent to do the job! He went on the roof for less than 20 minutes and threw more caulk on and then left. I contacted the manager again to express my dissatisfaction but received no response. At that point I took to the internet to share my experience with this company. A few days later I was contacted by the owner who said he was going to come out and review the work. The owner came out on the date and time that he committed to and it seems as though the leak is now repaired which I am glad about, but unfortunately one (or two) employees made this a very painful experience.

I thought I might have a roof leak so I called another company first but they were pressuring me and making me feel uncomfortable. So I called Big Ikes since they replaced our entire roof, including the plywood, back in 2000. Mark came out right away to take care of things. The other company wanted me to wait two weeks. Mark is very friendly, personable, caring and dedicated. He made the repairs and even fixed my loose gutter and hanging soffit! I highly recommend Big Ikes Roofing!

Ike is punctual, did the estimate himself, and offered a range of products and competitive prices. Talking to Ike, the customer gets the feeling of honesty, knowledge, integrity and friendliness. His roofing crew was terrific, skillful workers with excellent attention to detail. The finished job was beautiful and their clean-up was totally thorough. Ike was always aware of the customer and easy to reach by phone. This company gets my highest rating and recommendations.

Gerald was the salesman - professional, friendly, and was responsive to text and calls - During initial meeting, he walked the roof and provided good information and explanations, answering all my questions. Did not really interact much with the crew, but did not have any complaints with their work or conduct. They showed up and started working straight away, completing the roof in two days and then the gutter crew came in and completed the next business day. Both crews did a decent job cleaning up. Only critique, after providing 1/3 down for deposit, they stated ~3-4 weeks (weather permitting) rather than stating, "you are x in the queue of y". Granted there was lots of rain this season, but could have been more proactive with the communication. After week 6 (and a minor miscommunication), got confirmation from Mark (Owner) that work would begin on week 8. Still, they did a good job and the roof and gutters looks great! Now, only time will tell, but I would recommend these guys
