"This was one of the worst experiences in my life!! After After 6 weeks of horrible communication I still have no tub I followed up with a certified hot tub tech who informed me that due to the fact my hot tub is sunken into the floor there is no access to the control box. You CANNOT change out a heater without access to this box. Pool 2 Perfection should have known this. They never should have charged me for parts that are not properly connected to the control box because they will never work. Now I an out $855 and still have a non-functioning hot tub. He does not know what he is doing and should have never agreed to service the Hot Tub. Now he will not even respond to me. I offered to pay the service call and he can come and get his part that is of no use to me."

"I needed my older automatic pool vacuum repaired and was afraid it would not be fixable. I sort of ranted awhile at the repair team (Dusty or Justin) and they patiently let me carry on. Then they repaired my vacuum and it works better than before! Sorry for taking my bad day out on them but I’m guessing they are used to people getting repairs being less than ideal."

Hot Tub Repair is a full service hot tub and spa repair company. We do everything from a simple drain and clean to freeze damage and insurance repairs. We also offer a full line of spa chemicals, filters, covers and accessories.

"Absolutely untrustworthy. Paid him over 500 to repair a leak on the hot tub. Replaced main drain. Now I have a leak from the drain and the fitting he connected the pipe to. Twice as bad as what it’s was before he touched it. Called him to have him come back out and fix it. Told me two weeks. It’s been over a month and he still hasn’t come back. "The boiler at the Lansing Woman's Club died on December 7, 2021. Mike from Miles Plumbing and Heating was the only one of 4 contractors to actually take pictures of our old boiler and send them to his supply person on-the-spot. Within 24 hours he had a new unit located. The price was competitive. Within 10 days the new unit had arrived from New York and Mike and his team set about removing the old boiler, taking care to protect all the flooring material at the clubhouse. The entire crew was punctual, professional, and extremely courteous in answering questions about boilers in general and this installation specifically. Despite all of this happening over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, Miles had the new system up and running on January 5, 2022. You can extend the life of yours by keeping it clean, using a soft cloth and mild dish soap; applying a vinyl protectant spray; using a cover lift to move and fold the cover carefully, rather than treating it roughly; protecting it from harsh weather; keeping kids and pets off the cover; and cleaning the underside of the cover with a chlorine spray. Investing in a quality cover will also help it last longer and look better.

Shocking your hot tub means adding extra chemicals to the water. Most spa experts recommend doing this once a week for proper hot tub maintenance, but you can do it more if needed. Shocking has multiple benefits, including preventing the water from becoming murky and it’s essential in removing harmful bacteria from the water.

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months.
