DIETZ POOL EAST INC

Hired them to put in a new liner for my in-ground pool. I put $1,900 down as a deposit. I was told to put chlorine in the water to clear it so they could measure. When the water was clear, I called them to let them know it was clear. They didn't show & I had to add more chlorine over the next two weeks. When they did show up to measure, he said he couldn't see well enough to measure. Told me to drain the water and call when the pool was empty. Called when empty. They showed up to measure but he had never measured for a Grecian pool before. I called Dietz Pools 1 1/2 weeks later to check on the liner. I was told that it wasn't in yet and if it didn't arrive by Monday, they would call and check on it. I called Monday afternoon and was told the liner company didn't make the liner because the measurements were incorrect. A few days later they came back to measure again. I called Dietz Pool three days later to get a status on the order with the new measurements. I didn't receive a return call in six days so I went to Dietz Pool and talked to the owner, Diane. She told me that they didn't make the liner because the measurements were incorrect again. She told me the employee that did the measuring was on vacation and would come back to measure after his vacation. I fired them on the spot and requested my deposit back. Diane said she would return it.

They talked to me, reluctantly.

After I fixed my own problem I contacted the service department and spoke with a "Diane". I told her she had some shady repair guys working for her and told her my experience. I informed her that I would not be paying for the service call as they did not perform any services, all he did was write it up for a new filter. After arguing with her and being treated like I was the one lying, she finally agreed. I will NEVER use this place for service and it kills me that they are pretty much the "only game in town" for a quick part etc as I hate giving them my money.

Told them I had a large water leak from somewhere in the pool....they came out....checked the pump and mechanical equipment......overcharged on this even though they found nothing.....I asked them to check the liner of the pool...they wanted much more money.....even after they agreed to negotiated on the price of checking...they did not and submitted the same overcharge to me....paid it...would NEVER NEVER use them or their products again. There was a large manager ? in the store who also sold cigars...he was rude and condescending. Acted like it was a privilege for me to shop there for supplies.....It was humiliating...

Dietz is very reliable and knowledgeable which both are extremely important to us.
