just fine. he was also helpful in finding a time that worked. I don't have a piano tuned that often, so it probably was the going rate for the service.

David does a superb, professional job with a minimum of muss, fuss, and bother. Not only does he tune a piano perfectly, but also he sets the pins so that it stays in tune better than usual. He also regulates the striking position so as to get the best, most even sound -- this is especially noticeable in the high treble, where he is able to get a good sound rather than just a thunk. I think he is the best tuner in the area, and he is still relatively inexpensive.

Hard to say enough nice things about David Kollar. He is very personable and does a wonderful job. He's tuned our piano several times over the years and I highly recommend him.
