"We will hire him again! It's refreshing to find a professional who responds quickly, and does a superb job. He removed, repaired our rotted soffit and removed and repaired a facia board. Painted both and found the problem related to both issues. We will use him again !"

"Jake was very fast and thorough, he brought in all the equipment needed and the manpower to get the job done quickly! They didn’t sacrifice quality and we love the way our home looks after him and his crew did there work! They painted basically our whole house inside and the refaced the kitchen cabinets and drawers. And all for a very reasonable price!"

"For the most part, it went well. We ran into a snag when one of the new faucets was missing a part, so I went and picked up a replacement. The only problem was that, somehow, in the course of connecting the kitchen faucet, the water to the dishwasher was turned off. (I wasn't sure that was the cause at the time but since the problem occurred right after they'd been there, I assumed it had to do with the connections.) I called to request that the person come back out to correct the probem but didn't hear back. As a result, I had to call another service provider who came out, found and fixed the problem in short order."

"The job was done carefully and quickly. The exterior of the near 50-year old ranch house was restored as good as new. The price is reasonable and competitive. The business owner is very friendly and responsive to any inquiry. I would hire him again for the next job."

Small jobs welcome

"Having moved to Michigan recently from California, I was skeptical about using a contractor off the internet since I had no references to rely on but it was the best move I have ever done. Jim Wagner is an awesome man and does a superb job. He is very meticulous and works until the job gets done even if it involves the weekends. I would recommend him to anyone and will hire him again in a minute."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

It can take anywhere from a few days to several months to draw up architectural plans, depending on the complexity of your project. Architectural plans are highly detailed documents that take time to complete, and any changes or alterations can significantly extend how long they take.

Villa exterior features often include large windows, arched doorways, patios, terraces, greenery, and gardens. Common exterior colors for villas are whites and off-whites, soft browns, and clay tones.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Most towns and cities have regulations regarding sign dimensions for businesses. If you're opening a new business, contact the town or city's local zoning board to see the specifications you need to follow when getting your sign created. There may also be rules regarding how high your sign can sit. Be sure to learn about specifications before having your sign made. Sign companies generally won't offer refunds once custom signs have been fabricated.
