On short notice Ben met me at the house to go over preliminary plans. As he was very busy he indicated that he was about a month out which was fine because I had some concrete work I wished to complete first. As the concrete work continued to be pushed back in the schedule I contacted Ben and asked about where he was at with the plan. He met me at the house, again short notice. He also worked around my extremely limited schedule. We agreed on the plan he drew up, made a couple of changes and the work was completed in short order. As I was unable to be there for any of the work my daughter kept me updated as did Ben. Ben removed a huge number of weeds, invasive perennials, turned and amended the soil, installed edging and planted shrubs, trees and perennials. He also mulched. The result was wonderful. His thoughtful eye turned an eyesore into a home with wonderful curb appeal. The neighbor made sure to walk over and tell me how nice it looked and that Ben and his crew "were very hard workers". Customer service is top notch and Ben is quite knowledgeable. I am looking forward to designing and completing the back yard and will be calling Prestige when I am ready

"There needs to be an A++ for this business! We purchased our house a couple of years ago and the front and back yards were both a wreck in every way (lawn, trees, randomly planted shrubs, weeds). There were multiple evergreens in the front yard physically touching the house, a bunch of randomly planted (like 7) trees in the back yard that looked terrible, invasive species and vines growing up into the trees/shrubs that we wanted to keep. I set up an appointment, got an estimate on Monday and Wednesday at 9 a.m. the work was done (removed all trees and shrubs, ground down stumps, put everything in the woodchopper on site and turned it to mulch. Everyone was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, punctual - I could not have had a better experience. Everything was neat, tidy and looked great when they left. I highly recommend this company - I was so impressed that I told them that they need to charge more for the work they do (my husband had asked someone else for an estimate, and got a quote that was 10 times the amount we paid for about 25% of the work that they did). ! I also like that it is a nice family-owned local business. This will be our go to tree company as long as our family lives in the Lansing area. WOW.

"I needed six yards of topsoil to landscape the back corner of my yard. Having been satisfied with Hammond Farms in the past, I called them for a delivery. The driver came as scheduled. When I showed him where I wanted the topsoil dumped, using my neighbor's driveway, he said he didn't think he could get back there because of low-hanging wires and the structure of the driveway. I explained that if he couldn't get back there, it meant dumping the dirt in my driveway and me taking it by wheelbarrow to the back corner. He said he'd try. He not only tried, but he succeeded. I am so grateful that he was willing to make the effort and save me the extra work of moving six yard of dirt by wheelbarrow. Hammond Farms and their employees get an A+ from me.
