"I would like to say Thank You to Mike (from DMR Handyman Services LLC). My neighbor referred Mike to me because he had done some work for her & she had nothing but good things to say about his work. I texted Mike a few months later & requested a quote. Mike came over & took a look at the work that I wanted to have him to give me a quote/estimate on. He walked into my house & walked past 2 big boxes that were sitting in my front hallway. I told him that there were 2 vanities inside. He told me that they specialized in bathroom & kitchen remodeling. He also told me that I should go on their website & see the various projects that they have worked on. A few days later, Mike emailed a quote to me for the amount he would charge for each repair or installation. I replied, That is "Very" reasonable! We had previously gotten our air conditioner from them several years ago and had a great experience so we used them again. The salesman arrived promptly, was very professional and great to work with. He scheduled the new furnace to be installed the next day - which was a Saturday at no extra charge. Our job number is RA511081 and on 11-8-25 Kirk and Logan showed up and worked hard all day to install our new furnace. Kirk and Logan are very friendly to work with and they did a great professional job. They kept us up to date on the status as they worked. If a geothermal heat pump is installed correctly, then you shouldn’t have to worry about having a backup heat source such as a furnace or oil boiler. However, there are geothermal systems installed that include a backup in case the heat pump fails due to extreme cold. This is simply a backup heat pump you’ll likely never need and not an alternative heat source.
