I took my vehicle there for ball joint repair. After they held my vehicle for 2 weeks and I called for pickup they stated my tranmission was leaking. I said prior to my vehicle being in their care my tranmission was not leaking. They agreed that it wasnt leaking and could have happen during the test drive and it is unfortunate for me. After paying $700 I cant drive the vehicle and it is now leaking. I have to now decide which bills wont get paid so I can get m car fixed.

Armstead Automotive spent many hours troubleshooting this problem. I was impressed with their persistence. After it was all done, they only charged me for 4 hours of time plus incidentals. I thought this was very reasonable given the amount of time they put in.

The car lost all power due to an oil line failure between the turbo and the oil pan. Armstead was able to diagnose the problem accurately, secure the parts quickly and perform the repair. The car is fixed and running well. This was a job that would have been hard (and messy) if I tried to do it myself.
