The net price of the system quoted was very competitive with the other contractor quotes that I obtained and the brand (Lennox) and furnace features/efficiency ratings were superior to the other systems quoted by other contractors (Bryant and Amana). | |The experience was a pleasure from beginning to end. Description of Work: We have old fashioned radiator heat, finding professionals who know how to work on boilers and radiators is a real plus. Dee Cramer is the best A plus on every thing. Used them last year and they will be here again this week (2014)

Description of Work: Dee Cramer replaced my old inefficient furnace with a new high efficiency model. The other contracters that quoted the job would not quote a high efficient model due to the difficulty. The salesman gave me a quote with various model options and then sent out his installation expert to figure out how best to do the install.

Description of Work: During a prolonged power outage our Centrral Air Conditioner was damaged by low power before the total outage. The Start Capacitor was damaged. We contacted Dee Cramer (They installed the AC unit and Furnace several years ago) They were responsive and punctual. Their service person we was professional and effective. However this company uses Flat Rate pricing. This resulted in paying $247 for the installation of parts that I could buy retail for less than $65. The acutual time to effect repair is less than 30 minutes. Even allowing the full retail price for the parts this leaves a lot of money on the table. In the future I will contact repair service that charge an intitial service charge that is Identifiable and a follow on per hour charge. Flat Rate allows to much "wiggle room" for the service provider. The charges above do not include the emergency charge of $149.

Description of Work: We have an older house 3 story house (built in 1918) with a Boiler Heating system. We wanted to install A/C. Dee Cramer was able to retrofit an A/C unit on the third floor, drop diffuser vents through the ceilings to the 2nd floor rooms. The cooler air settles to the 1st Floor keeping it cool also. In the recent 100+ heat the whole house stayed cool and comfortable. This was a complex job and they did it very well. It took 3 employees 4.5 days to do the project. They were at the house on time everyday, very professional and they did a great job cleaning up the worksite. We are very happy with the work and definately would reccomend them in the future.

Description of Work: My gas furnace was nearly 20 years old and starting to act up. I got 3 quotes. Dee Cramer (Lennox), Goyette (Bryant), and Blessing (Carrier). They met me after my work hours or Saturday. All 3 were within $700-900 of each other. All 3 quoted on mid to high to super high efficiency. All had 6 months same as cash, other bells/whistles. The Blessing sales guy took 2 hours, measuring the house, making suggestions, educating me. Goyette uses union installers which is important in this area. All 3 would pull the permit; important, I understand. Got complaint files/building permits from Grand Blanc Township. Dee Cramer had three times the number of residential permits. Each day to work, I'd see one or more of each company's trucks. I reviewed websites, talked with friends. I decided on Dee Cramer based on price, reputation of Lennox and reputation of Dee Cramer (which took over Beaudry when the owner sold or retired). I'm glad I did this in August instead of below zero January day!
