MY Plumber

Well if your looking to get ripped off by someone, call My Plumber. We never got an estimate of how much the job was going to cost, he fixed our well but charged us triple the price that it should have cost. I should have asked the locals that live here about him. After talking to some of them, they said that's what he does, OVERCHARGE YOU for the job he does. Do your homework before hiring him.

It's been a while since Matt and crew have a review on here, so I thought I'd speak up. My (very senior) folks had a failing sump pump a few years ago, Matt came out and was great - for a very reasonable price. Fixed it quickly and perfectly. When my water heater failed, my mom recommended him. He was great on the phone and through text. The price was about $600 less than the other quote I received. So a man named Rick came and he was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and totally professional. I felt in good hands. He not only replaced the heater but did a couple of other necessary things but still stuck to the quote. Honestly, if you need a plumber anywhere near Metamora, call them. Can't recommend them highly enough. Ethical, punctual, affordable, and likeable. What else do you want?

Matt came in and replaced a leaking shutoff valve that another plumber had declared unfixable and then located the problem with our show/tub very quickly. He ordered the replacement part for this 40 year old fixture and will replace it when it comes in. He will figure out charges then.

I needed my toilet looked at and fixed because of a leak and explained to him what the issue was and also what I have tried to do to fix it already. I am trying to troubleshoot the issue and discuss information on the problem and I got "well I can't help you" and hung up on. Not very appreciative towards this kind of service. What kind of businessman just hangs up on a client ready to pay for work to be done. Very disrespectful.

Unbelievable job...I called from another state to have work performed on my rental property in Michigan. They got the job done a few hours later. They sent pictures and videos of everything they did.....very professional!

I called Matt with a list of plumbing projects I needed tending to (failed sump pumps in my crawlspace, leaking bathtub, leaking bathtub faucet, broken hose spigot, broken air injector for my sump pump line). He called a day or two later to say he was going to be in the neighborhood that afternoon and could stop by to check out my projects and give me an estimate. He stopped by and capped my broken air injector (he may have disconnected it as well), but told me to run my emergency sump pump for a little while each day to remove the pool of water around my broken sump pump and keep it from recurring and that he would get back to me with an estimate for my list of projects. He told me to text him my email address so that he could email the estimate to me, but I had a feeling he was not very interested in taking on our jobs. I texted him my email address, but he did not respond...not by phone call, text, or email. I finally emailed him via the Angie's List website and still received no response. I am frustrated because I called him based on the other members' reviews of him; I wish I could say I got the same service.

Went well, no problems

We were very pleased with him. He did an excellent service. The price was considerable, but it was well worth it.

After they returned, we determined my well tank needed to be replaced also due to a ruptured bladder. I went an got the new tank while they preprepared for the change. So the incoming line from the well was replaced, new fittings installed to the and quot;Tand quot; into the tank, the tank was replaced and a valve added on the exit line of the tank It took about 6 hours total. The entire experience with M. Y. Plumber was excellent. Highly recommended.

Water was on floor when they got here. I called them and they were here in less than a half hour. They were here for two hours and when they left with the problem fixed! They stayed to make sure the sub pump water went down to the level it should have been at. They even explained to me how a sub pump worked. I just cant explain the relief I am feeling at how quick they responded and fixed my issue. Bob and Tyler were very professional and very friendly.

Matt and his team were wonderful! He was thorough, clean, and very nice. He even came back out again to redo the drains because there was so much sediment that they got clogged again. He did not charge for the second trip. I will call him every time we have any plumbing issues.

He returned my original call within 2 hours and called me again later that afternoon and made the repair the same day. Matt brings competence and integrity to his profession . I will definitely use him again.

Nothing remarkable which is good. I called. He came to do the work. The drain was cleared quickly. $200 paid. He lelft.

I figured the sprinkler system feed itself might cost more than $300! I was very pleased with the quality of the service and the price!

Everything went very smoothly. My call was answered promptly and the same day the owner came and explained what could be done to solve the problem.

The crew arrived when I asked them to and they finished the work without any problems.

They were friendly and professional. I could have not asked for any better service.

This was the nicest guy ever. He made the repair quickly, within 15 minutes. Also, he returned my message at night in a very reasonable amount of time, under 30 minutes. He came to our house the next day, on time. This individual is highly recommended. He replaced the elbow joint on a leaking pipe in the basement. This pipe lead to the well.

Called My Plumber at 8:00 a.m., was informed that he had stop by after first appointment, arrived at 10:00 a.m., identified problem, repaired problem in three hours. He was very polite and professional.

Contacted MyPlumber at 8:00 AM and was told that they would be by as soon as they concluded viewing a job 30 minutes away. He called at 9:45 and arrived at house at 10:00. He quickly identified problems and began work (which was key since my basement was partially flooded due to the broken sump pump. He quickly managed to get the existing pump working, then, with my agreement, replaced the current system and backup. He had completed the job within three hours minimalizing the amount of water damage in my basement. Matt was very polite and professional.
