"We asked for a different contractor early into our project and we were told no because the owner already paid the contractor they sent us. The contractor they sent blocked our ductwork work with a piece of wood and tin foil then filled it in with floor level. Now only 1 side of our house cools off when the air is on. It gets so cold it's unbearable the other side stays warm. When the furnace is on parts of our floor gets so hot we can barely walk on it. Our dishwasher only had cold available to hook up to because they hooked up our garden hose to the hot water coming directly from our hot water tank. They never hooked up our dishwasher and they new it needed to be framed in too. Our new shower drain still drains very slowly and they disconnected our garden hose on the west side under our new shower. The tiles are not flush and some have chips, scratches. Our toilet was so unlevel it rocked. It was over 3/4 of a inch off."

Not only was their price very reasonable (it came in between two other quotes), Mike also took his time to explain what to look for in a paver patio and what design elements would fit our vision. He also educated us on the installation process of the patio from the very beginning. Once the construction started, it went much quicker than we had expected. And throughout the process, Mike continued to communicate with us changes that needed to be made based on the elevation of our yard. He always gave us choices on the changes, and we often consulted him on the better choice. Because we were working from home, we were able to observe Mike and his crew working on the patio. It was very clear that Mike took great care with the little details to make the patio perfect. Based on the similar care his crew members showed, it was clear that Mike also imparted the importance of quality work to them. Work quality aside, Mike was also wonderful and respectful from the first time we talked. When we first met, he was kind enough to wear a mask when he saw that I was also wearing a mask. I truly appreciated his understanding in my desire to keep myself and family safe. I also appreciate his effort in learning to pronounce and use my name - itâ s not something that other contractors even attempted. My wife also enjoyed talking to Mike. Specifically, she appreciated that Mike treated her and I with the same amount of respect. Her experience with most contractors is often unpleasant because they would talk around her or dismiss her questions or suggestions. Mike, however, listened to her input and respected her decisions. We are very satisfied with the result, and more important, we enjoyed our interactions with Mike throughout the entire process of the project. In fact, we have already started talking to Mike about returning at a later time to landscape our front lawn. We would highly recommend MAC Landscaping and Design to anyone wanting someone who values quality workmanship and a pleasant work relationship."

"Worst experience ever. Don?t hire this landscaping company you will be disappointed. Killed our lawn with the machinery. Debris was left in the street in front of our neighbors for days on end. Unloaded rock on my neighbors lawn he had to go rake it off so his lawn didn?t die. Our patio pavers are sinking and not straight at all. Work was just done over the summer and the patio is sinking already Very disappointing . Alot of money paid for results that look like i did it myself. "

Found out that Decks Unlimited was the subcontractor for one of the big box companies. I have a familiarity with residential construction, and unlike other companies, they didn't try to BS me. Again, unlike others, did not try to up sell me. L Very pleased with their work. They worked well within my HOA constraints. Just had an issue with clean up after the work was done, but I honestly believe it was because of weather, which put them behind schedule on other jobs. Who would have thought we would have rain and snow in the same week that late in the spring? I would highly recommend them."
